I should have said that this feed used to work up until around 2 years ago, according to the user. This explains the entries in the feed, and the fact that the most recent has a date 2 years ago. The Facebook page is much more up-to-date, but I can’t get the more recent posts to show on the feed.

I’m trying to activate automatic updates, without any success at the moment. Did you do that, or did you do a complete reinstall of the new version?

And if you did the complete reinstall, how did you do it: reinstall from the .zip downloads | copy the new files over the old ones | something else?

I’m chasing them too. Will let you know if I have any luck. If you could do the same, I’d be grateful.

Do you have the very latest version of wpml-media? If not, updating would be a good start. If yes, contacting wpml support would be a good idea. You won’t be the first and from what I’ve seem, they seem unwilling to admit that it’s their plugin that’s causing the problem.

In another thread, many people are having problems with the WPML-Media plugin. So if you have that installed, disabling it may solve your problem. It worked for me.

Otherwise, try disabling your plugins one-by-one until you find the problem. Version 4.x does seem to be causing some compatibility problems in the area of media uploads, is my impression.

Don’t think so, Andrew. There are no additional styles. I’ve just created the child theme to modify header.php rather than to mess with the styles.

Don’t know about anyone being able to help you, but the answer to your second question is, ‘Yes’. Hopefully it’ll be a much better site. The one you reference is one of the worst sites I’ve seen recently. The developer should visit: https://www.webpagesthatsuck.com/

Hmm. I’ve got a variety of this problem.

I’ve downloaded my site to my local machine in order to do some work on it offline (trying out a new ‘phone-friendly theme and some other changes). It all works fine if I change the permalinks to their default setting, but no joy at all if I change to any of the other permalink settings.

Any ideas how I can get the other permalink setting to work?

Get your HTML right and I’m sure your problems will go away. But if you still have a problem, please post in a new thread.

Yes. I just downloaded the latest version of WP and the default themes remain twentyten and twentyeleven.

Look in the wp-content/themes directory. If you don’t see twentytwelve in there, then it doesn’t exist.
