I don’t want to reopen the ‘we know better than our users’ debate, but the need for an alternative to Gutenberg is not going to go away.
So far none of my clients are happy with this new editor gutenberg.
I have to say that I really am not a fan of Gutenburg default editor either and the two-year life span sounds dire, however, I did find this link which seems to give hope to those of us who prefer using ‘Classic Editor’ for the time being
