Krishna, I did all the scans and didn’t find malware. I’ve redone my pages on the site and they are now working alright. I can edit each page now. I want to thank you for your patience and help for such a novice like me. The Forum is a great help and it is appreciated very much. Once again, thanks very much. I’m going to mark the topic as resolved.

Krishna, I followed your instructions but the problem did not resolve. I call the HUB Webhosting support and they said that there was some kind of code on the opening page that was preventing me from editing it. They suggest that I delete the opening page and make a new opening page so that the proper code will go into it. Do you agree that this method could possibly work ok. I won’t proceed unless you concur with the suggestion? Again, thanks so much for your efforts in helping me.

The announcement page is no longer a problem as I have transferred the
limited amount of information to the opening page which appears just fine for our purposes. But, when I attempt to Edit the opening page it won’t appear in the Edit screen to make changes and update. The problem is how to get the opening page to appear in the edit screen to make changes. The edit portion of the screen remain blank so changes cannot be made. Surely someone has an answer for this I hope. Although I have a backup file I would rather not have to download a new WordPress program to start all over if at all possible.
Should I repost this problem to see if anyone can offer a solution?

The announcement page was not working when one signed on to perryionic.org. and we seem to not getting any where in correcting the problem with at page while all the other pages worked. Since the announcement page information was small I decided to put that information on the opening page which worked just fine and opened correctly . When I go to edit the opening page now in Edit it won’t appear in Edit to make any changes. The announcement page is no longer an issue. The issue is why doesn’t the page information appear in the Edit section so changes can be made. All other pages on the site are working ok. Should I repost the current problem?

Krishna, no the announcement page does not work so I transferred the information from the announcement page to the opening page and deleted the announcement page altogether. However, when I attempt to edit the opening page the edit portion does not appear for editing.

Krishna,when a member signs on to my website they go to perryionic.org
The website comes up, however when they click on announcements the announcements page does not open. All the other pages will open. How can I get the site perryionic. org to recognize the Announcemt 2 page. Members don’t sign on by going to perryionic.org/announcements 2. Any other ideas on how to correct this? Thanks for your help,

How did you get Announcements 2 to open at the website? I get the message that “This is somewhat embarrassing we can’t seem to find the page etc.

Krishna, when I go to the website my front page opens. When I click on the “Announcements” page it comes up “Sorry can’t find the page” and the correct page does not load. All the other pages work fine.

Krishna, thanks for your response. I can log in to my Dashboard with not problem. Originally I deleted my “Announcement and Activities” page and renamed it just Announcements. After editing my new announcements page which edited just fine, I published it. When I go to the website “perryionic.org” I can view every page but the Announcements page, which is very important to my website. I’ve tried everything for about 4 hours and couldn’t resolve it so I appealed to the Forum for help.

Castordor, I made the changes to the cpanel and I am now able to update my web pages. I also deleted some graphics and reduced the size of the first page and everything is updating just fine now. Thank you very much for your help as it is greatly appreciated. I’m now able to meet my deadline on updating my web site.

Castordor, Web Hosting Hub is asking how many megabites is suggested to set the post-max-size.

Robin, The Tech at Web Hosting Hub didn’t seem to understand the suggestion that the mime type for the .png images was wrong. Can you explain further.

Thanks, I reviewed the listings but could not find one that I felt pertained to my situation or one that I could understand being a novice. I appreciate your response though. Maybe someone will come through for me. Thanks again.

Talked to Web Hosting Hub and they say there is nothing wrong on their end.
I can update the 2-end pages but the front page won’t update. It just goes to the Request Entity Too large Error. I’ve deleted a full page and some additional info on the sight thinking that the capacity limit was reduced. I don’t know where to turn right now. All the pages but the opening page are correct. Thanks for any suggestions.

Being fairly new to WordPress I didn’t realize that one could not talk to a technician who wrote the software. If no one responds within the Forum offering help or a solution I have no where to turn because the Host Hub says it is a WordPress problem. Do you see why I’m frustrated having to meet update deadlines for the site.

Please pardon me if I have made a mistake in seeking help but where can I turn for assistance?
