In reply to: [WP Go Maps (formerly WP Google Maps)] Link Store search to homepage buttonHi @timmy321
We understand what you are trying to achieve here, unfortunately it’s not possible “out of the box” with our plugin.
If you are able to set up the form on your home page, set up your map page, and provide us with links to both of those pages, then we’d be quite happy to provide JavaScript to marry the two up, if that would help?
Kind regards
– PerryHi @aegea
Thank you for getting in touch, sorry to hear you are experiencing issues.
Unfortunately it’s against www.ads-software.com’s forum policy for us to offer support for the premium add-ons here, which we can see your site is running.
I’m very sorry for any inconvenience caused, but I’m afraid we would have to ask you to go to our contact page to open a ticket in order for us to assist with these issues.
Kind regards
– PerryHi Brock
Thank you for getting in touch, sorry to hear you are experiencing issues.
It doesn’t appear that this site uses our plugin at all, I can see that Google Maps itself is being used to power the search functions, but our plugin doesn’t appear to be installed on this site at all.
You’re through to the support forum for the plugin WP Google Maps, you would need to ask whoever authored this search box for help with repairing that as it’s 3rd party code which we don’t recognise.

In reply to: [WP Go Maps (formerly WP Google Maps)] Link Store search to homepage buttonHi @timmy321
Thank you for getting in touch, sorry to hear you are experiencing issues.
It looks like the Nominatim geocoder may be experiencing issues, please can we ask you to temporarily remove the Country Restriction to get started, for some reason we’re seeing an empty results set coming back regardless of which address is entered.
Regarding having a separate form, unfortunately our plugin does not support that right now. You’d need to write your own JavaScript to read query variables and populate the store locator, we are working on this but it’s not currently supported.
Is there anything else I can help you with?
Kind regards

In reply to: [WP Go Maps (formerly WP Google Maps)] Layers?Thank you for reaching out to us.
Our plugin does indeed support polygons and lines out of the box.
Regarding your other points, please could we ask you to open a ticket through our support desk so that we can discuss this further?
www.ads-software.com’s forum policy forbids us from discussing the add-ons here so you’d need to reach out to us through there for answers on your other points.
I hope that helps?

In reply to: [WP Go Maps (formerly WP Google Maps)] permanently_closed deprecationHi @jacdesigner
This is the support forum for WP Google Maps by Code Cabin,
MyMaps is not something which is affiliated with our plugin.
Whilst we’re quite happy to give out general advice, if you need help with MyMaps you’d need to reach out to the relevant team.
Is there anything else we can help you with?

In reply to: [WP Go Maps (formerly WP Google Maps)] Map is Not DisplayingHi @wcdjen
Thank you for getting in touch, sorry to hear you are experiencing issues.
There is 3rd party code throwing an exception during jQuery’s “ready” phase, which is causing execution to halt, before the “ready” event fires for our plugin. Because of this, our plugin is waiting indefinitely for the ready event to fire, which never happens.
This appears to be related to Popup Maker, as far as we’re able to tell, you can confirm this by disabling that plugin.
We did just that using the live source editor at our end, and as you can see here, the map is able to load with that code disabled.
You would need to reach out to their team for help with this issue, or find an alternative plugin.
Does that help?
Kind regards

In reply to: [WP Go Maps (formerly WP Google Maps)] permanently_closed deprecationHi @jacdesigner
Thank you for getting in touch.
Our plugin does not use this property at all, so this can be safely disregarded in terms of using WP Google Maps.
Please rest assured that we receive these same notices at our end and would act accordingly if any action were necessary ??
Is there anything else we can help you with?

In reply to: [WP Go Maps (formerly WP Google Maps)] Changing Greek location names to latinHi @karamouzas
1) We do not supply the tile imagery, at all. Serving up tile imagery is an incredibly resource intensive task and not something we provide. This is why our plugin uses 3rd party tile servers, such as Google Maps, OpenStreetMap, WikiMedia maps, and others, to provide tile imagery.
2) The answer to this question would depend entirely on which tile server you decide to use. You would need to research potential tile servers to answer this question, we did take a cursory look at some potential options however if you’re trying to avoid using an engine which requires an API key, unfortunately the only localized tile servers we could find that offer this stipulate that you create an API key in order to use them.
With that said, we can help get you started if you do find a non-Google tile server which meets your needs.
Please feel free to ask any questions you need it’s never a problem, we appreciate the feedback!
