Thanks. So far so good.
Hi @serge00,
Thanks, I added the exclusion like this: https://www.example.com/?fluentcrm=1&route=unsubscribe
I will keep an eye on it.
I can indeed see all blocked attempts in the log but I won’t whitelist them because these people will very likely not come back anyway. But I was able to click the URLs in the log and unsubscribe them myself that way.
Thank you @eugenecleantalk,
Yes, version 6.20 is installed. I now changed the Cookies setting and tried again to create an account with the test e-mail address. But again the same console error and no frontend message.
By the way, if I am not on the page to create an account, but on any other page, I get this in the browser console: “Uncaught ReferenceError: ctPublicFunctions is not defined” at /wp-content/plugins/cleantalk-spam-protect/js/apbct-public-bundle.min.js?ver=6.20
Would it be useful to send you the URL so you can see it yourself? (not here in the public forum though).
Can I set the frontend message and customize it? If account and forum posts are blocked completely, I’d like the legit users to understand that they can contact us in case if false positives.
I’m using both the Free and Premium licenses on various websites. Both work fine. The free version works without paying anything.

In reply to: [Temporary Login Without Password] jQuery not defined if plugin is activatedHi Asmi,
Thanks for looking into this. I have a test site with the default 2022 theme and all plugins deactivated. When I activate your plugin, I get the jQuery error on the plugins page of WordPress.
On further testing, I found that MonsterInsights has the same problem.
If I activate both plugins, I get the error twice:
plugins.php:214 Uncaught ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined at plugins.php:214:5 (anonymous) @ plugins.php:214 plugins.php:358 Uncaught ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined at plugins.php:358:4
You can log into my test site if you’re interested.

Thanks Steve, but I don’t need the German version. I need it to display English only.
Hi Steve,
Thanks for the quick reply. You’re probably right. However, I don’t need the German translation. The user profile language is set to English, so I expect everything to display in English.
It’s the first time I am seeing mixed languages in the WordPress admin area. So I assumed it was an issue of this plugin.

In reply to: Image caption not synchronized to pages@ataurr No, that’s not the issue. Let me give you an example. Let’s say I add an image of a bird in the sun to the Media Library, and I write “bird in the sun” in the alt and caption.
A year later I have inserted this image in 100 pages. I now have a better picture of a bird, but it’s in a cage. I go into the Media Library and use a plugin like https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/enable-media-replace/ and replace the image in the media library, and I update the alt and caption to “bird in cage”.
Those 100 pages now have an updated image but with the old, incorrect, alt and caption.
This also happens if I don’t replace the image but simply decide there is a better alt and caption for that image. I can update it in the Media Library, but it won’t be updated on the pages where the image is already used.
I find this an issue for bigger websites, but it seems to be the default way WordPress works, and I haven’t found any alternative yet.

In reply to: Image caption not synchronized to pages@ataurr Yes, but this is not a bug, it’s default behavior regardless of the theme I believe. I think that most WordPress users simply accept that captions are static and may be outdated over time. I don’t want that though.

In reply to: How to keep image captions up to date? Thanks Nigel,
I think I have to accept that this is uncommon in WordPress. I hope future versions of WordPress and plugins will offer more options for managing large sites.
I’d better search for a good search tool now, so I can at least find old captions quickly and then edit them manually after making a change in the Media Library.
