Sounds right. Have been checking since I deactivated the seo plugin. Am still getting server load spikes but not as high. I read somewhere that wordpress seo is heavy on resources so I guess that is not helping response times when activated.

Actually I want to add more feeds!!!

Read your webpage again about scheduling. Maybe it’s better if I break them down into smaller batches. I’ll ask my host support how to write the chron jobs.

Tried the Feed id example and got this response
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/whiddy54/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-rss-multi-importer/inc/feeds_to_array.php on line 7
    success

Tried the category example and got this response
Fatal error: Call to undefined function rssmi_lb_filter_callback() in /home/whiddy54/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-rss-multi-importer/inc/excerpt_functions.php on line 506

Tried category again with an id in feed list. Got same error as for feed id

Categories:- Yes the message box comes up in IE 11 but not in Safari. No problem with the associations. Haven’t tested other browsers yet. Forgot I had this issue weeks ago (before the beta). Remembered it a couple of hours after I had contacted u. Maybe something to do with my IE settings on this PC. Will check later on some other machines.

Categories: That I know! Have many. I think I ran into this issue once before and solved it by using a different browser. I will check that shortly.

Not logged into wp right now but if you have a look at home page of whiddy.com you will see examples. I can send you the feeds later.

Noticed that and not a problem.

Was having a few issues that I couldn’t resolve easily so decided to clear out the database and then reinstall the latest beta plugin.

All going well so far…except…want to associate my plugin categories with wp categories but get the message – you need to add another plugin category before……..

    A few points…(autopost)

If the excerpt length is X and there are at least X words in the post, the read more/source info is not there. Works fine if less than X words.

Feed source is adding an extra “:” no matter if label or blank.

The scheduled dups were probably caused by a plugin I tried a few days ago to clean them up. Had to delete it. I may end up deleting the posts manually.

It’s possible that multi plugin is cleaning up a few thousand published posts which are expired and once that is completed the system will come back to life. Will activate it again later today and walk away for a few hours.

I will go back thru your recent support threads to read about other updates and see if there might be anything related. Thanks.

It’s getting better but still issues.

Deactivated all plugins and flushed cache.

Activated multi. Seems to be hogging all the resources. Had to rename in file manager (when I could get in!!!).

Looked at the posts. Have bunch of duplicates in Scheduled but Published looks ok.

Maybe I am missing some other current updates in the beta. Are you pushing out a beta update anytime soon?

Have switched to a different host but I don’t think that is the issue.

How do I know when the upgrade database has completed?

    Thread Starter peteduignan

    (@peteduignan)

    Allen,

Getting this error after putting in that file

Fatal error: Call to undefined function rssmi_is_plugin_page() in /home/whiddy54/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-rss-multi-importer/inc/upgrade.php on line 257

Had to rename the plugin so I could get into Plugins.

Should I revert back to the previous upgrade.php or wait?

    Hi Allen,

    Getting this error…

Fatal error: Call to undefined function rssmi_check_didUpgrade() in /home/whiddyco/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-rss-multi-importer/inc/options.php on line 384

Yup!!! Have a few of those but not many. Also some 2009 and 2011. Just thought they were a bad post now and again in various feeds.

Sounds like you are on the right track. Had a lot of scheduled building up that missed the schedule. Read about some plugin that cleans those up but am trying to use as few plugins as possible.

Still think there may be a general issue. Perhaps not.

1970 is a good date, just a little dated! Haha…

    Thanks.

Site very slow last night. Unusable. Had support work on it. Was very fast.

Site very slow this morning. Unusable.

Am tired of the inconsistency and having to contact support to look at it numerous times. Already in the process of moving to a different host. Expecting it to be lightening fast then – not!!!

I don’t think that is the problem but could be adding to it.

Will request you to look again when I have a usable admin.

Ok thanks Allen. Was trying to keep it as automated as possible.

I guess that is just 1 more good reason to use the shortcode and let your plugin handle all the formatting. LOL
