In reply to: Account not validatedThis is coming from the lj crosspost plugin. Haven’t looked into how to fix the plugin, but if you disable it the error should go away.

In reply to: Looking for a plugin that makes a user able to edit certain pages.I have seen sentry installed on a 1000+ user WP install with nowhere near that many queries. This is primarily because Sentry itself doesn’t have to run many additional queries. I’d be interested to see your setup to determine exactly how you coaxed it into doing so, though.

In reply to: Looking for a plugin that makes a user able to edit certain pages.I’m interested to see how that plugin calculates the ram another plugin is using (or even the amount that wordpress, specifically, is using) but I can’t seem to find it. Do you have a URL for the wp-security plugin?

In reply to: Looking for a plugin that makes a user able to edit certain pages.I’m guessing that’s a problem with your configuration or theme, because in normal usage Sentry executes very few queries on its own. As a general rule, it just modifies normal WP queries.
How are you ascertaining how much memory a specific plugin is using? Also, how many users do you have on your site?

What kind of load and under what circumstances? I can’t speak for the other, but I’ve seen Sentry running on a number of good-sized, reasonably trafficked sites with nary a problem.

In reply to: using wp-sentry on pagesAs far as I know, this issue is not being addressed in the core.
I also have not come up with a way to do this that I am happy with, so unfortunately the answer is that there is no fix for this problem at this time.

In reply to: No Private Page parent shown to add private child toHowever, although this does the job of displaying private posts in the drop-down list of parent pages, there may be unwanted effects elsewhere.
Yes. You might be better off, if this is a temporary fix, to make a copy of the wp_dropdown_pages and get_pages wp_dropdown_pages and only call them from the page where the dropdown is created, otherwise you’ll definitely have those private pages listed out in unwanted places.

In reply to: [Plugin: WP Sentry] private feedsI just uploaded a new version (0.6.92) of the plugin which I hope will resolve the issues you’re seeing. It should appear on WP Extend relatively shortly.
Please take a look and let me know if you’re still having trouble.
