Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Inactive Widget Page In DashboardSame problem and worse – the media uploaded doesn’t now load and I’ve disabled all plugins, swapped themes all to no avail.
The whole of the menu system of WP 3.5.1 is crocked- flyouts don’t work properly etc etc.
I’m tempted to replace the core files from a known working installation…. in fact thats what I will do after backing up.
Amazed so few reports of this.
I’ve had a string of problems on Analyticator.
Across over 60 blogs hosted on different servers, different hosts but same themes. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t.Have tested with identical themes out of the box. Can’t see rhyme nor reason with the instances of not working, so tested out the competition and found one which, installed now across 55 of the blogs works first time.
This issue was NOT resolved I’ve just seen that it has been marked as resolved. I’ve walked away from the plugin as free or not it just doesn’t do what it says on the box.
Enough already, enough.
I’m running a large quantity of blogs and this plug in is NOT working for me.
Same error as the start of this thread, I can’t be bothered with having to reset the plugin EVERY time I wish to see a quick picture.
There are other options out there… Thanks for trying.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Analyticator] Google Analytics Stats ErrorIts the same error that I get on most of my blogs. You have to reset the plugin and re-authenticate with Google Analytics.
Hopefully the plugin author/developer will fix this with the next release as I get tired of having to reset this umpteen times a day!
Hi Ben
All are individual sites NOT MU. It would be good to get this sorted – I can’t see a pattern other than one theme is more effected than others. ( Suffusion, current release)
Thanks
Peter
Hi Ben the error message appears on the dashboard of WordPress, in the usual place! I checked 14 blogs today, 9 had this error, its not restricted to a particular server either, i.e. its cross Server.
As far as I can see the only commonality is that the Google analytics login is the same.
Obviously it requires a reset each time which is a pain in the a**
Yesterday on one WPress login I had a brief message whilst re-setting permission to authorise with Google, which said Method Not Allowed or words to that effect. Flashed up briefly before giving me the Google success code to paste into the app. Probably not relevant but…
I was asked by Ben to mark as resolved as I started this thread!
The current version solves my issues.I don’t know but maybe it’s more appropriate to start your own thread?
I’m sure Ben will chirp in guys.
Cancel that.
I hit reset after doing the update that sorted it.
Now working on all my blogs ??
Thanks for your perseverance! Hopefully all input helps.Best regards
Peter
Updated and sorry to say, no cigar:>

Ben all my installs are individual.
All working apart from the one. I am serious when i say my sites are simple replicated ones that earn be $30-50 a day every day so I keep it simple. Same boring settings… don’t mend what isn’t broken premise!
Best Regards
Peter
Hi Ben ??
<So, the site that doesn’t work – site x – what is different about it?>
Content is the only variable.
I vary the header widths of my blogs and sundry decorative items to try and reduce sameness with the Great Google, but the blogs run with exactly the same plugins, exactly the same WP and i just use FireFox as my browser when doing any WP work.
I thank you for the mySql screenshot, here in Moldova ( Eastern Europe) it’s getting late, I’ve had a drink and that combination is a no no for the obvious reasons! I’ll check tomorrow! Thanks for your help!

Peter
Ben I have 52 blogs on two servers. Only one blog returns the errors stated above.
I’ve also removed everything by FTP and tried again. Same issue.
So it’s something else. ( If it was the clock synch issue all other installations of WP on the same server with the same themes etc. would be so effected. They aren’t.)
What I can’t do is to delete everything and start afresh. There the medicine is more harmful than the disease. But there remains something that I’m sure you will find.
Good hinting and if I sound ungrateful I’m not! I really appreciate your work. The only plugin I guess that I’d pay for without wingeing! – it’s THAT useful! ??
Looks like this one is proving a toughie to sort.
For sure its a GA issue though – as we have have reset, deactivated, de-authorized and then re laid GA on our blogs… it’s not theme related as I have multiple themes all configured the same way – all on the same server all on the same WP version.
My sites are single, not multi.
Hi Ben
The reset makes no difference I’, afraid ;-(
Certainly it looks like something in GA is essentially leaving detritus post installation.I’m not savvy enough to check the wp_options tables myself however.
Can follow instructions though ??
Thanks for assistance so far.
Kind regards
Peter
