Sorted. I put a question out to the twenty twelve forum and a member called Batharoy came up with the goods. In fact he has helped me in the past and is becoming a bit of a hero. Anyhows, I like the new icons, the animation, the ability to fix them in the header (finally) and use floating ones which follow the page. Is there a way to increase the spacing between the icons ?

In reply to: [Twenty Twelve] Adding More Than One Logo/Header ImageI cannot thank you enough. I have tried for about a week to do this. I even went through the pain of creating a widget in the header. Which worked but again, I had problems aligning it to the right. I’m sure you have helped me with something else previously. You are a star. I can now move on to look at other stuff. Thanks again.

In reply to: [Twenty Twelve] Adding More Than One Logo/Header ImageOMG, you are a hero – again. Is there any way I can now get the social media icons to move downwards slightly. So they are in line with the word dance.

In reply to: [Twenty Twelve] Adding More Than One Logo/Header ImageOk. You will have to bear with me on this as I am a total newcomer. A full 2 weeks and 1 day. I have removed all reference to this from the Header.php file and the positioning from the style.css. Hopefully, thats everything gone.

In reply to: [Twenty Twelve] Adding More Than One Logo/Header ImageFirstly, I apologise to canu for hijacking this thread. Thanks to Batharoy for the suggestions. However, there is still a problem with alignment. What is happening is that the h1 site-title has full page width allocated to it and even though the image aligned to the left is only 238px wide. When I try and place the social media icons in the same area it also allocates an additional full page width to area it is placed. Hard to explain really, but the bottom line is that horizontally I can place the social media icons exactly where I want them but vertically I cannot get them on the same line as the site-image.See here https://tinyurl.com/orzpzaz

In reply to: [Twenty Twelve] Adding More Than One Logo/Header ImageSo in my instance I am trying to get the Floating Social Media Icons from the Acurax Pluging to align to the right hand side of my header. I initially used ths following code but I pushed the existing site image upwards. Is this because I never gave it a unique id.

In reply to: [Twenty Twelve] Adding More Than One Logo/Header ImageSorry to hijack this thread but I have just posted something very similar myself. I had sort of come to the same solution suggested by Batharoy but when I try this it ends up pushing the existing site image upwards. I am somewhat new to all this so is the suggested unique id in this code
the bit in quotes or is it the “a” before href; like a, b, c, etc
Twenty Twelve doesn’t have a widgetised area in the header space. I am battling with this at the moment and although I can place the icons where I want them it pushes everything else down.
I have played around with some php code and managed to position the icons in the site-title area but what happens is the site-title image is pushed down. I believe this is to do with the amount of space allocated to the site title which is 960px x 80px. My thoughts on this are that if I can redefine this space then the clash won’t occur. The problem is, I don’t know where to begin !
So here is where I am with this at the moment. I checked out your premium version and downloaded it on the basis that you offer a 30 day money back guarantee. I like some of the new options – icons seem cleaner, I like the animation effects and the ability to choose the starting and finishing positions for the floating icons. However, I still cannot get them to align to where I want. Are you able to offer any further suggestions.
Depending on the cost of premium I may be prepared to purchase it as long as I know for definate that it will do what I am asking because I have tried several social media plugins and I can get none of them to position in my preferred place.
I’ve tried to upload an image. Hopefully I’ve done it correctly
https://postimg.org/image/6kx5co0dx/Sorry, maybe my explanation wasn’t as good as it could have been. I’m not sure how to upload an image but I want the icons above the menu bar in the white space aligned to the right. If I can work out how to upload an image then I’ll send you a link.
