In reply to: [Group Documents] Does this work outside of BuddyPress? This plugin has been built from the ground up around BuddyPress Groups. Getting it to work outside of that won’t be easy.
Cheers,
peterHi,
Do you have the BuddyPress plugin already installed? This plugin is designed for BuddyPress social sites. It does not work with the base WordPress installation.Cheers,

In reply to: Automatically populate custom menu items with subpagesAGREED! I would love a way to have a custom menu to duplicate the entire heirarchy and not just top level pages. I went through the trouble of specifying a parent page when I created it, I need to not only enter it by hand into the menu, I also have to re-position it.
It’s a pain to use custom menus on anything but a tiny site.
Anyone know of anything?

In reply to: [Plugin: Group Documents] Works with WordPress single but..To dcservices or anyone else browsing this thread,
I’ve added the ability to enable/disable documents on a group-level as requested. It will be included in the 0.4.0 version. If that hasn’t been released yet, you can find the development version (which includes the feature) here:

In reply to: [Plugin: Group Documents] Restrictions on DownloadsThanks for giving the plugin a whirl. Yes, user authentication is an oft-requested feature, and is high on the list. Keep in mind, for a non-logged in user to be able to download the document, the group would need to be public (in which case, downloading is fine, the group should be private if it’s not), or they would have to get the direct url (which is fairly obfuscated). Although not airtight, it’s probably easier said than done.
Cheers,

In reply to: [Plugin: Group Documents] Privacy/versioningHi John,
Thanks for giving the plugin a whirl, and for your feedback. Those are both good suggestions (privacy and versioning). I’ll add them to my list of ideas, although I can’t promise any timeline for implementation. The versioning in particular would take quite a bit of development time, and lately my schedule hasn’t been giving me much of that at all :-/Cheers,
Peter
