In reply to: [Qubely - Advanced Gutenberg Blocks] Accordions not openingIve deleted the accordians now and remade them. I could probably easily reproduce the issue though as it happened before this time also.
The accordian was inside a qubely row which had a background. I made it a reuseable block.
Edited the reuseable block at a later date. Everywhere I placed the block it would not open.
But If i placed another accordian below it then both would open.
If you really want to make a change to the plugin to address this I could redo another one on a test site if it would help the developers ?Forum: Fixing WordPress

In reply to: Visual Editor problemThanks
Thats not the cause. I checked all users and its unchecked like in your pic.All my other wordpress sites are ok. I did notice some small changes in the editor today though…was there an update somewhere ?
For example adding a link, im sure the editor displays a slightly different graphic.Forum: Fixing WordPress

In reply to: [Qubely - Advanced Gutenberg Blocks] Fatal errorThats not how I ‘fixed’ it. I disabled qubely. Then went to a page with quietly blocks on it. The option was given to ..convert to html OR recover the row block.
On recovery all the blocks came back. This is far from ideal and not the first time I have had to find a workaround for qubely errors.
To be honest I’m looking at other options now for block plugins. Shame as I’ve perservered with qubely for quite some time and it has some good features but I don’t have the time to fault find plugins and find there is very little by way of support from the developers.
But thanks for the advice. I know they added a Google font feature in the last update. Maybe that broke the blugin for some users.

In reply to: [Qubely - Advanced Gutenberg Blocks] Accordions not openingWas there any resolution to this problem as I have the identical problem and workaround as the last poster. Accordians not opening, but a workaroujd by adding a further accordian to the page. Thanks
Sorry that above information is wrong. Ive found where the extra “text” is coming from.
CyberSyn is reading the image Caption and including it in the excert. And the image caption isnt being shown on the post excert image.Everything looks good in the full post though.
Any ideas

but as a work around i added some blank space using the footer top row which wasnt being used for anything.
so im ok at present but im sure the way ive done it isnt ideal.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Qubely - Advanced Gutenberg Blocks] Info Box Icons MissingOK i can answer some of my own questions, used an old dummy test site and twitter feed to test this out. This is what I have found out.
1. You dont need a “featured image” to get one to show up on twitter….looks like publicize just picks up the first image in the post if theres no featured image set. No matter how many images are in the post, the first one is chosen.
2. If you dont set a “featured image” it doesnt show up in the “social preview” window, but you will get the first image your post as the twitter image anyway.
3. Preview window always shows a “summary with large image” card, even if that is not what is going to be sent to twitter.
4. The “social preview” view and card type is of no consequence as the twitter post will be of a default card type, which incidentally I can alter using Yoast to force the type.(I have done this with other plugins also like JM Twitter for example)
5. I can find nowhere to set my card type manually in Jetpack/Publicize on a post by post basis which is what I would like to do.
Any ideas if I am missing something, a setting somewhere to choose card type? It looks like this would be great if I can set card type and preview before publishing.
