Hmm, we just upgrade the plugin with a couple of bug fixes, we have installed it on a number of sites with no issues though. Try upgrade and let me know how you go

Thanks for the suggestions. We did this plugin because recipress was so good but lacked some basic features. They have indicated they will be adding a pro version with extensions.

We will keep maintaining this until this becomes a reality.

Version 4 has been released now with new widget, new features including short codes for posts and pages, google font support and more styling options (simpler less evasive)

The new version will also give you options with countdown timer on off as well. It is a pretty big overhaul.

Not as yet, the whole idea is that you can have a scrolling embedded stream, we will add widgets soon!
