In reply to: [WP Crontrol] ?doing_wp_cron URL parameterThanks. The error I got is is…
`There was a problem spawning a call to the WP-Cron system on your site. This means WP-Cron events on your site may not work. The problem was:
A valid URL was not provided.
More information: https://github.com/johnbillion/wp-crontrol/wiki/Problems-with-spawning-a-call-to-the-WP-Cron-system
I thought I resolved the issue by deactivating, then reactivation this plugin: https://searchwp.com/documentation/setup/engines/ – However the after a few cron events the issue reappeared.
Any suggestions on this would be appreciated.
Also to mention the cron events work when using ALTERNATE_WP_CRON , but not the default cron. Any idea why this would be?

In reply to: [WP Crontrol] ?doing_wp_cron URL parameterThanks for the quick reply. Yes, I am using ALTERNATE_WP_CRON . I have taken over the site and for some reason the normal cron is not working. I can’t find the any code to see where the previous developers turned the normal cron off. Not disabled in the wp-config.php file. I know I am pushing my luck here as not an issue due to your plugin, but would you have any idea where the normal cron could be disabled, or would it be impossible to predict?

In reply to: [WP Crontrol] ?doing_wp_cron URL parameterThanks for the reply. So is the url parameter required as I am using your plugin? Would you mind point me in the right direction to remove it if not required?
Much appreciated

In reply to: [Plugin Organizer] Filter GroupsMany thanks. I understand now

In reply to: [Plugin Organizer] Filter GroupsThanks for the reply. Yes I can see you can do the via the “Group & Order Plugins” section along with the individual pages.
I don’t understand what the “Plugin Filters” area does. What’s the benefit of this area? I can see you get enter a permalink of the relevant page and control the plugins, but can’t you do this already directly from the page it’s self? If you set a few pages / permalinks in a filter group how do you change the plugin settings for these pages.
Maybe be I’m just being dumb, but I don’t understand how these area’s work.
If you have time a screencast would be great to explain please.

In reply to: [Media Library Assistant] Importing Photoshop IPTC data into WordPressHi David
Thanks for your reply.
I have entered “template:(+xmp:Iptc4xmpCore.Description+)” in the EXIF/Template Value description standard mapping field and set the IPTC Value to none and the Priority as EXIF, but when I check the result on my images it shows the text “+xmp:Iptc4xmpCore.Decription+” instead of the image field value.
Any idea what I am doing wrong?
Also do you have a list of XMP fields?
Regards
Pete

In reply to: [Media Library Assistant] Importing Photoshop IPTC data into WordPressHi David
Thanks for the reply. That helped.
However I have noticed if the file is saved as a .png file I only get XMP data and not IPTC or EXIF.
Under your Standard field mapping settings area I do not see an option to map to a XMP value? Is this possible?
