Hi again, one more update for you.

So far I’ve been able to import 12 products. However, some of the products aren’t linking to a post page, instead I get a “page not found” error.

I do hope we can get the kinks worked out as when the importer is working, it’s importing all the right things and I really like that it brings in a featured image.

I wanted to give you an update. We’ve upgraded our hosting on GoDaddy to Deluxe Linux hosting. We were in classic hosting prior to this. I’m still not able to import all 58 products. I have gotten in 7 so far. And then it goes to an “oops this page is unavailable” page.

Also, our site has become super slow on the new hosting and the hosting people say it is because we have a plug-in that is improperly coded. Which I haven’t encountered before.

Anyway, any advice as always is welcome. And thanks for trying to help me figure this out.

Quick update: I was able to import 4 items, but it gave me this error:

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Any idea what that might be about? Do I need to increase the database space maybe? I can go check with the host help as well if that is the issue.

When I run it that way I get a “You have imported 0 products in 0 categories.”

If it helps to know, I’m running the X Theme. Would there be a conflict with any other plug ins or anything?

There are 21 hidden items, which gets us to the magical 58 number.

I tried using the https://shop.writerobinson.com and also https://writerobinson.bigcartel.com for the shop settings.

Okay, spoke too soon. That fixed it for IE7 and above. But, IE6 is still jacking things up. The page background is wider than it should be and the menu is MIA. And the sidebar is below the content still. Should I make a separate CSS for IE6 with a conditional statement in the html? Or try a box hack as one of my friends suggested?

Thanks! Although that has made no difference now that it is fixed. IE still isn’t showing my sidebar in the correct place. Any other ideas?

How were you able to use your own header and own navigation? Does it take extensive programming knowledge? I know HTML and CSS, but I’ve just had my first glimpse at PHP. Thanks!
