I’ve figured out two things:

– When ThemeRex Addons plugin is activated, the draggable slider doesn’t show.
– Because I had “0” value at both answers in the polar question, it wasn’t possible to move the draggable slider even when it was shown. I was confused about this, I thought that adding points to polar is optional…

I have enabled the debugging as instructed on two sites. Then I’ve started the optimizing process again, and on both sites, it failed again. But no debug.log file was created in the wp-content folder on both sites, unfortunately. I’ve set 777 permissions to wp-content folders and also created the debug.log file manually, didn’t help – no logs there. The error is still the same.

Ok I am not sure if you got my message – stuff is translated already, but it doesn’t properly show.
I will look into the translation files again to verify that. I’ve installed the PoEdit and looked there, all the places I need seems to be translated already, it just shows in English instead of Czech, even though Czech is selected in WordPress and works everywhere else.

Thanks Sky. The thing is, the translations are there (47%), and the parts that don’t show in Czech, are actually translated in these translations (I have checked the .mo and .po files myself). So I feel like the plugin doesn’t open these translations well. I have tried other language and there was the same issue (I think German).

@pputzer: Yep, they can be capitalized. Thanks for looking further into this. The “Single Character Words” will help a lot and solve most problems, thank you! Very happy with your plugin ??

Here are the rules:

Czech rules for preventing line-breaks to prevent disruption in reading flow

You shouldn’t break the line in inter-word space, when they’re used to/in:

? connect consonant articles k, s, v, z with following word. E.g “k mostu”, “s bratrem”, “v Plzni”…
? connect wovel articles o, u, & a, i with following word. E.g “u babi?ky”, “o páté”
? chunk numbers. (This can apply to all languages IMO) – 2 500, +44 634 4534 435
? space the number and unit – e.g. “50 %”, “# 26”
? between number and month and year – “16. ledna 1972”
? connecting abbreviations – ISO 9001
? in between abbreviations like tzn. (tzn. = czech version of “that means”). e.g. “tzn. klikání”
? In between title of a person and the name – p. ?e?etková (= Mrs. ?e?etková)

Hope it’s kind of understandable ?? It’s a lot of rules and if you are willing to implement all of them then I’ll have a lot of respect! (and many Czech people will surely appreciate this). Will share your plugin to the world a bit ??

Sure, very happy to write feature request. I’ve found a good resource with all the rules in Czech, so happy to translate it if that helps.

It’s a good typography attitude when setting Czech text, to not leave the articles hanging at the end of the line, detached from the word (if they’re short, like “v” “na” “s”) and so on.
