In reply to: making menu full widthThanks Andrew.
I didn’t mention but I also tried that.
it worked better than the Margins but it still stretches the menu items and search field to the left or right.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: making menu full widthNo I haven’t.
All customizations including that top menu have been manually integrated.
my question is not referring to the theme, Just the basic CSS to edit my own customizations.Forum: Fixing WordPress

In reply to: Adding Top Nav MenuHi Andrew,
I understand that commercial products are not supported.
My issue is related to a commercial product, But is not limited by a commercial product.I was simply just saying that SimplePress was the theme I was using incase people have used it before and may be able to lead me in the right direction.
The Information I am after would be adaptive to pretty much any theme using wordpress.

Khanna64: Try checking you .htaccess file for any issues there.
If you’re not sure if there is a problem, Post the content of it here.If you’re using Cpanel File manager and cant see the .htaccess file. Remember to tick “Show hidden files” when going in to the file manager.

In reply to: Can't rename categoriesIs there an option to edit them?
What happens when you try to edit the category name?Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Dashboard only shows blank screen, website is fine.I wouldn’t exactly say it’s theme related but I guess you can try if you like to. Just rename the folder of your theme and it should automatically revert to the default template.
But if that doesn’t work for you then I’d go with esmi’s Idea.
Your main goal here is to update wordpress. Weather it fixes the White screen issue is regardless.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Bad RequestYour Theme includes a script that the Server ModSecurity is Picking up. It may be a False positive and can be fixed. But my advice to you is to drop it and find another theme.
Good Luck.

In reply to: Dashboard only shows blank screen, website is fine.Sorry I just Saw that you tried to disable the Plugins.
Getting Sleepy ??If you’ve already tried that and it didn’t work. You can try Increasing the Size of your php Memory. It sounds like an issue I had a while ago but I can’t quite remember how I fixed it.
Try putting this in your wp-config.php file. Add it to the line under
define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '32M');
Let me know how you go ??

In reply to: Dashboard only shows blank screen, website is fine.Login to your hosting account and rename all the folders in
./wp-content/Plugins/Everything should work now.
Then rename them back to what they were 1 by one and wait for the problem to happen again. That way you can tell which plugin is causing the problem. I cant remember correctly but you may need to activate them again too.

In reply to: Problem in installation step 2, "Table doesn't exist"What did you do to need to repair the Installation?
Try Logging in to phpMyAdmin and repairing the SQL Database which your installation is using.
If its a new Installation, Drop all the Tables in phpMyAdmin and install again.

It does look like your domain didn’t get registered.
I’ve come across issues like this in the past where I’ve bought a domain that I Couldn’t believe was actually available. To find out that the Domain Provider had some issues and that it was actually already registered. In your case the domain isn’t registered at all, So I’d go check with GoDaddy to find out whats going on if you’ve already paid for it. They may have had some issues at the time and couldn’t process it.Also be sure to change your Nameservers to those provided by HostGator.
That will make your domain point to the Hosting account, In the meantime if you have your IP address to the server that you are on, You can use something like this to view your website and make edits.192.168.1.1/~accountname (Where “accountname” replace with the your username to login to the Hosting Account) This whole link will be your URL to your Website, To Access wp-admin. Use something like this. 192.168.1.1/~accountname/wp-admin/
Good Luck! ??
