It would be great if your plugin supported custom fields but don’t drive yourself crazy trying to make this work. I was originally trying to insert a shortcode into a custom field so I could display a dynamic slider on a post using the a plugin called Live Composer

The publisher of the plugin made a modification that allowed the shortcode to work how I needed (basically, a shortcode in shortcode).

I am creating my custom fields with the plugin Advanced Custom Fields.

I also found this add-on for ACF that may have done the trick: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/advanced-custom-fields-shortcode-field/

Perfect. Thanks for your reply. Your plugin does exactly what I was looking for. I was just a little confused about how to use it after reading the original instructions. I thought I had to wrap the shortcode in a special way when all that it sounds like I need to do is paste it into the field.

It don’t think the problem is a permissions issue. The uploads folder is currently set to permissions of 755 and I also tried importing with it at 777 and I had the same issue. I successfully imported my CSV using another plugin but I really like yours the best.

One other issue that I am having is that your plugin (at least I think it’s your plugin) is renaming my image files on import. It’s removing all of the hyphens. Is this normal? Is there an option to prevent this?

After installing this plugin (2.1.0) I can no longer sort my media files by date.

I am using this theme and when the theme is active I am unable to create new scripts. If I switch themes temporarily I can create scripts that are editable in the main theme when I reactive it.

I see, those are custom taxonomy fields.

I don’t know what you guys are talking about. I inserted [gallery link="file" ids="18,17,16,14,13,12,11"] and it does not work.

I am trying to do something similar. I am using a theme that does not have a slider. I want to use LayerSlider to make a full-width slider at the top of my page. I can easily insert a LayerSlider into a page by simply inserting a shortcode for it, but how can I get it to display at the very top of my pages (above all the content that the theme is generating)?

I am a newbie, so can you please explain exactly where in the code I need to insert the LayerSlider code so it does not mess my theme up?
