Thanks, I thought that the plugin does nothing other than create a new page for previewing. By “sinister” I was referring to possible corruptions in the portion of the database that stores the nav elements, not to anything Caldera did.

In reply to: [Caldera Forms - More Than Contact Forms] Form submittal locks entire siteHi, Josh, thanks for checking. I came across the Jetpack problem in hunting through plugins – but the site doesn’t use BBpress, so I don’t know what’s activating it. Our site was just migrated to a new ISP and apparently my old ISP had been running some old PHP that had caused problems with other migratees, and I’m waiting for a developer to check that out. The site is back at 95%, just w/o Jetpack or Caldera for now.
That the errors are coming from “known good” plugins after a Caldera transaction is rather frightening. It suggests that the chain of causation is not simple.
An infinite loop problem would describe the dying behavior of the site when I hit the submit button on our new form.

In reply to: [Caldera Forms - More Than Contact Forms] Form submittal locks entire siteJust did. Looks like the Caldera Forms plugin did some trashing when attempting to submit a form to email. Database appears fragile…but Caldera did get the email out before it killed the site. I am hoping at this point that we can rebuild, as most page data appears intact.

In reply to: [Caldera Forms - More Than Contact Forms] Form submittal locks entire siteOh, bloody. It’s the WP white screen of death.
Ignore. Found the problem. tag on excerpt that had been forgotten about. Thanks.
I don’t think so…this is inside a Beaver Builder HTML block, and only on the EVENTEXCERPT placeholder. I have other HTML blocks in the theme and they don’t do anything similar…

In reply to: [PayPal WP Button Manager] 401 server error with recurring transactionsAye, the problem is most assuredly in the IPN listener, but seems to be related to the near-simultaneous sending of the notification pair and possibly delays in the IPN listener’s verification handshake generation loop. I was interested in verifying my observation of the timing of the PayPal IPN notifications for recurring transaction.
