I’m wondering if what’s causing the problem is the theme name as I renamed it to something else. Parent theme works fine, but child theme fails to install as above.

In reply to: Source CodeThat’s right and it is actually annoying that this only happens when using WordPress. I believe there is really no way to solve this issue other than exclusively hosting one WordPress site for one hosting account.

In reply to: WordPress View SourceThe general setting can’t be changed I believe as this is the directory where the wordpress site is installed. Following my example, it will be https://www.obama.com/romney/wordpress which can be pointed to the desired domain https://www.romney.com.
I think there is really no way to solve this problem other than exclusively having one hosting account for one WordPress site.
