Sorry Romik84, the star ratings don’t change. However, I had to change the theme. I absolutely love your theme but it’s not easy to work with. Apart from the problems I mentioned. I don’t know how to feel secure about it. Like sometimes, when in edit mode, a paragraph of text is string into one continuous line of text but when I view the post, it all seems to format correctly. Yesterday, I deleted an article on my site because the text will not be reformated back to the original format but continues into that long continuous line of string.

I really love your theme but I’m not technical enough to ascertain what’s going on with it and I’m afraid to save my work because the edit and view modes are not in sync.

Hi Romik84, that’s a good question and I should have thought of it but I honestly don’t know. My blog is only a couple of months old. I switched to your theme from a default theme after a week or so and completely was blown away by the “evolve” design. You could be right because this is the second time it has happened, both times within the last couple of weeks. Hey, sorry about the ratings, if you know how I can change it then let me know. Because honestly, I’ve never worked with a better theme.

I forgot to mention, when the text disappears in edit mode leaving only the images, I can view the post/page with text but It isn’t displayed in edit mode for editing. And I fear by doing a save while in edit will wipe out my text completely.

Hey Clayton, I removed the readme.html file but install.php is a html source code and I’m worried that the removal of this file might affect the blog. I don’t know html well enough to ascertain the function of the install.php file and how it will affect the blog. However, I opened the file with Notepad and can send it to you as an attachment, if you want to have a look at it.

    Thanks again

Hey Ipstenu, the answer is no! When you say Unix, are you referring to the Cpanel on hostgator. If so, could you give some instructions, I’m not highly technical but a fast learner.

    Thanks again

Alchymyth, Thanks for the reply. Does this means changing the HTML in the header.php or is there another way of using including pages from edit page menu because I couldn’t see anyway of including or excluding a page from the header on the edit page menu.

Thanks guys, could not increase the memory because of the plan I have but disable the plugin called: Extended Admin Post Filter and the problem is solved. I wondering if disabling this plugin will cause further problems?

Thanks again guys, you are magic on a gray day!

Thank you very much for replying but the problem was resolved. On the WordPress panel there’s an option that allows a page to be published but not display on the navigation menu. I must have chose it by accident but it’s rather fascinating that WordPress gives that option. You see, the public can’t access the page or know that it exist but the link could be forwarded to anyone, you want to grant access too to that particular page.
Isn’t that great? WordPress the Best!

I solved the cron job problem by completely removing the cron job fron my HostGator ==> CPanel ==> Advanced == Cron job. If you’re using wp-o-matic for posting content to your blog then you don’t need to run a cron job; it will only clash with wp-o-matic and prevent it from posting by producing an error. Wp-o-matic works like a DreamDancer on its own.

Hi, I’m having a problem with my rss feed, the fetch works fine with Word Press but the actual cron job fails with this message “curl: (6) Couldn’t resolve host ‘wp-o-matic'”. I think the problem is with my wp-o-matic cron command under the options. initially I posted the command from Word Press as was given:

    Unix cron
    Cron command:
    */20 * * * * /usr/bin/curl https://quickfixweightlossdiets.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-o-matic/cron.php?code=xxxxxxxx

    WebCron-ready URL:
    https://quickfixweightlossdiets.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-o-matic/cron.php?code=xxxxxxxx

I think the cron command characters at the beginning “*/20 * * * * /” should be removed in order to make it work but there’s no way of editing it. Does anyone know how to edit the cron command code.

    Please reply urgent,

Hi Micahcooksey, I added the meta tag to the theme’s header.php and it worked perfect. Thank you.

I tried your suggestion for showing posts on a different home page but there is absolutely no change except viewing two home pages on the blog. I created new pages home and blog. I went to settings > reading, set home to front page, blog to posts page…it didn’t work. I reset the pages to reflect Home page to front page and posts page and Blog page to front page and posts page but still no change.
Do I have to set Home page as parent to the blog page and label home as front page and blog as posts page or label both of them front and posts page. Thanks for helping, phildazz
