In reply to: Firefox doesn't let me in the dashboard. Cache was cleared. That’s what I said I did but I am redirected. IE8 does not redirect me.
It seems like a cache problem with firefox, but I cleared the cache.Forum: Networking WordPress
In reply to: Using domain.com, domain.net & domain.orgI have the mapping plugin installed but the site has to be created first and then mapped. That means I have to create a second site with the same name (domainexample.mainsite.com) and then map it to domainexample.org or domainexample.net. I didn’t think WordPress would let me create a second or third site with the same name domainexample.

In reply to: update-core.php is a blank pageI realized that I had not upgraded the Directory Press theme, so I upgraded the theme and the problem went away. Consequently, it pays to always upgrade everything and if that doesn’t work, contact the theme designer.

In reply to: update-core.php is a blank pageI the problem and since I have seen several posts on this topic with no solution that worked, I thought I would point out what the problem is. On a hunch, I tried activating the Twenty Eleven theme instead of the Directory Press theme that I was using and I was then able to view the upgrade page. After upgrading, I reactivated the Directory Press theme and I was no longer able to view the upgrade page again.
Apparently, the problem has something to do with the Directory Press theme and probably other themes for people who are experiencing this problem.

In reply to: How to change the admin user photo iconI am going to try the plug-in User Photo

In reply to: How to change the admin user photo iconThanks, but I only want to use my high school photo on this one website. If I change the photo at gravatar.com, it will change my photo everywhere. Do you know if it is possible or if there is a plug-in that will allow me to choose the photo for that particular website?

In reply to: [Secure Invites] [Plugin: Secure Invites] Use with BuddyPressIt is under Settings. However, I’m not really sure how to use it. The only choices are Settings; Bulk Invite; and Special Users. To send an invitation, does it have to be done from Bulk Invite or is there another way?

In reply to: [BuddyPress] [Plugin: BuddyPress] 2 Pages Not Showing On Buddypress MenuThanks! I decided to deactivate the plug-ins one at a time and the first one was the one causing the problem. That was EventManager. I visited the creator’s site at https://galfi.com/blog/wp-plugins/ and found an interesting page which says nothing except “Things are broken….and I don’t have time to fix them…..”. That explains it.
It’s working after your last update of 2.03!
If you are interested in taking a look, I can give you access.
I am using subdomains. When I log in to the main site, I am able to view the dashboard if I first click on Network Admin and then back on Site Admin. If I click on One of the Sub Domains, I have not been able to see the dashboard other than the title bar of the dashboard.
I just tried logging in to a subdomain directly instead of through the main site control panel and I was able to see the Google Analytics Dashboard and it was working properly. I then tried looking at it by logging in as the admin and going through the main site. I was now unable to enter the subsite without first entering the password of the subsite admin but after doing that I was able to see the Google Analytics Dashboard. When I tried to go back to the control panel of the main site, I had to reenter the username and password for the main site and after I did that was unable to see the Google Analytics Dashboard on the subsite.
As I mentioned, it is working if I log in directly to the subsite.

In reply to: Screen Options not loading with 3.1Hi Andrea!
That’s what I thought. Google Analytics Dashboard was displaying in the dashboard of the subsites prior to the 3.1 update. After the update, it no longer displayed. Shortly after the update, there was a Google Analytics Dashboard update but it still does not display.
