Hi Thanks for your reply. In the end I’ve found another plugin which seems to do the job ok as had to get the system back up and running

Just so you know I have deactivated the plugin for now as It keeps coming up with this error

I can’t do that as I have the free plugin and don’t have an account.

Is there any chance you can look at this as other people must have this issue?

Thanks, I’ve tried Yoast SEO, All in One SEO and Rank Math SEO and get the same error with each.
So once I have Yoast installed and I go to the Directory Listings and try and edit a listing or if I try and add a new directory I get the below error message…
‘There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.

Learn more about troubleshooting WordPress.’

If i delete the Yoast plugin then the Directory Listings work fine

Thanks so much with your help with this… and thanks for the offer of doing a custom paid for version of the plugin, though I think I will just see if there is a work around or some other way I do the lists of names.

Thanks so much for looking in to this!
I think I may be able to turn off the minified Javascript settings in the theme which I think I have just done (though not sure)… I don’t know if that helps.

This is the only plugin I have managed to find after extensively looking again that does exactly this job – so if there is any fix that would be great.

Though understand if it is too complex to be able to fix.

Thank you for getting back to me so quickly.

I see, I thought the search also included selecting a letter and searching for terms with that letter.

The problem is on my website if you select a letter the page reloads and jumps to the top https://unforgottenexmoor.firstwebpreview.co.uk/volume-one-summary
(i’ve changed the jump to search setting back to ‘no’)

So then you have to scroll down to see the results.

I don’t know if there is any solution to this?
