In reply to: [Subtitles] Error temping articlesHi @kosinuskc,
Have you tried this with other plugins disabled? I’ll need a bit more information than just these logs. Can you email more info to support (at) wecobble (dot) com and we’ll try to figure out what’s going on?
Thanks.

In reply to: [Subtitles] Is this plugin still being maintained?Hi Ken,
It’s still being maintained.
https://github.com/wecobble/Subtitles/commits/masterSecurity issues are taken seriously so if a legitimate issue has come up please do email me.
As far as compatibility updates go, the two major issues I need to close out are REST and 5.0+ compatibility.
Other than that it’s working great – I just need to push an update to .org sites.
Quite honestly my plans with Subtitles are to do a final update that makes it up-to-date and then think again about its future.
I’ll get this updated ASAP. GitHub is easier to see progress.
Cheers and thanks,

In reply to: [Subtitles] Compatibility with 5.0Guys, slowly crawling back into post-newborn life. Will work on this soonest. Please pay attention to the WordPress version requirements if you’re going to use this in production.
When I’m done fixing the block compatibility and API endpoints I’ll post an update.
Thanks.

In reply to: [Subtitles] Plugin fails with paginationHi. This is not a known issue. Do you have a live site or code snippet of your theme? Seems like it’s an issue on the theme side of things. Thanks.

In reply to: [Subtitles] Gutenberg supportNope. Busy with real life at the moment. Updating Subtitles is probably #1 on my priority list, though. I use it every day and I’m tired of it not showing up. Will update you guys soon. “Soon” = within a week or so. Just finishing real life things for a bit.
Cheers,

In reply to: [Subtitles] Compatibility with 5.0Both have a ”the_subtitle” function but with different implementations.
In short, our plugin automatically works inside the Loop and if you want to use it elsewhere then you’d need to manually insert it into your template.
It is possible to actually override pretty much every single function in the plugin. All that documentation is here.

In reply to: [Subtitles] No longer supported as of WP 5Hi there. I make it extremely clear on the home page of this plugin that it is only tested up to 4.8.9. I’ve also addressed the migration option here.
This plugin isn’t meant to work with WordPress 5.0 yet. If you’d like help migrating that doesn’t involve manually copy/pasting everything then we’d be happy to help. I’d also love it if you ask for support before slamming us with a 1-star review.

In reply to: [Subtitles] Compatibility with 5.0Sounds like you all are finding workarounds for this until a proper update is rolled out. Sorry for the delay. Lunar New Year + pregnant wife = little time.
I assume a good number of you will migrate over to other plugins, which I actually suggest, but I’ll update this thread when the new update has shipped to close the loop on this.
Cheers,
