In reply to: My theme has not been updated for a while…should I be concerned?Hi majondreau,
That is a long time for a theme not to be updated considering most themes will receive an update option every couple of months. It is always *recommended* to use an up to date theme for security and compatibility with the latest version of WordPress.
Is it a free theme? If so, these are more likely to be open to security vulnerabilities and are unlikely to receive support and updates.
I would suggest looking for themes on https://themeforest.net/category/wordpress and searching for themes with a decent amount of downloads/star rating as these are more likely to be safer to use for long term websites.
Hope this helps ??

In reply to: Featured Image is WAY TOO BIGHello,
I’m having the same problem. Here are a couple of things you can try if you haven’t resolved it.
Plugin: regenerate thumbnails
Adding custom css to your themes stylesheet.fusion-flexslider .slides img {
height: 150px;
width: 150px;
}However, I have tried both these methods, they work to a certain extent but it depends what you want the page to look like. I personally found the styling didn’t fit into my site so i’m still stuck with massive images for the moment. However, hopefully you may find this might sort out some of your problems!

In reply to: Website Code Gone, After UpdateAnother option you could try is accessing the files via ftp and deleting the files for that particular plugin.

In reply to: Website Code Gone, After UpdateHi,
Do you have a backup of your site? The easiest thing to do is to restore a backup before the site was updated.
Your hosting should provide this hopefully. I’ve learnt the hard way, it’s all part of the learning process and the main thing with working with WordPress is to backup, backup, backup! And make sure you backup the database too as well as the wordpress files.
Good luck!
