The client itself has only the report in the dashboard. They dont get the account details nor do they need more than just the basics.

That’s what the plugin usage is for. Simple task, easy to administrate.

I understand that you talk and care much about security but in a system which is vulnerable sometimes, one plugin doesn’t make the difference to me. If it’s working that way: perfect. But if there is a need for compromises I will accept them.

Reducing the ability for the user is a great idea. Maybe it’s one feature that will stand out. The WP users want everything clean and simple – thats what I’ve learned in the last couple of years.

A “reset button” is easy to implement. Remove the token, ask for a new auth. That’s all.

There is no google account for the client. It’s one admin account for different clients.

In one eye it may be a security risk but for the administration it’s way more helpful and there is no ability to manipulate the data via the google api, right?

If we would go your suggested way, we would need way more email addresses to create the GA accounts which are not used by the client. And for security reasons ?? we don’t access their email data.

As you can read here, the developer of the Polylang plugin explained he won’t continue to fix this known problem.

Too bad. We won’t use this plugin on further projects.

Another problem: when using a cache plugin (in this case WP Fastest Cache), the instagram container stays empty.

Any idea why this happens?

Tested it today. Love this option > helps the usability a lot.

Oh what a pain in the ass but I think I fixed it.
The problem was that the last 2-3 months where imported via the WP export function and obviously the images weren’t imported properly.

I did some mysql queries and updated the database to match the post/image entries. Now its fixed and the regenerated thumbs show up. Finally ??

You are wrong on this case, sorry my bad, I didnt say: its a clone of the same blog but with a database copy and a subdomain to develop the new redesign.

So, the content links to the main domain which will be used after relaunch but til this point I cannot set the feature image for more than 400 posts because WP uses absolute paths (domain without subdomain).

Thats why I was asking.

2.) Im Artikel stehen die Bilder ohne Subdomain und werden deswegen nicht erkannt/hinzugefügt. Irgendeine Option das zum Umgehen/fixen?

Okay, thats understandable but should be an important info in your documents. That it doesnt and won’t support one of the most used WordPress plugins.

This issue is still not fixed in 1.5.4 and very annoying.

After searching the support forum it seems the error occured a while ago and was fixed with another polylang version. looks like it reintroduced itself some time ago.

I got exactly the same problem using

Polylang 1.5.3
NextGEN Gallery 2.0.66
Wordpress 3.9.1

Album overview is working but as soon as you click on a link it redirects to the same page again. Thought this was fixed a time ago. Any hint how to repair that?
