In reply to: [Swell Lite] Latest Update Broke CommentsThank you! I think it was because I am using the plugin One Click Child Theme. I copy & pasted the comments.php file contents from the Github link you sent using the WordPress editor and it has fixed the problem.
I am getting a 503 error.
I’ve checked with my IP and my site is not currently being moved. CloudFlare isn’t active either.
Any other ideas to get me access back? Any other IP addresses other than the ones I used to login from earlier today are working just fine. Whitelisting those IPs had no effect, either.
Hi Matt,
I’ve contacted my host and they say there are no caching programs running at all. I’ve checked my CPanel, and Varnish is not there. My hosting provider has also been able to access and login to my site without any issues.
I’ve had a friend login to my website from a different location and they were able to access the site just fine. I had her disable Wordfence entirely, after checking the box to have it return to default settings, and I was still getting the error. I have cleared my local caches, restarted my computer, and restarted my router and nothing seems to let me access the site, even after having her whitelist my IP addresses.
Any other ideas for gaining access back to my site?
Thanks!
Jillian

In reply to: Malware or Virus on Site?Tara, I have an email in to Avast to discuss the possibility of a false-positive (see my previous post). Thanks!

In reply to: Malware or Virus on Site? Thanks for your help, wslade. It’s still a mystery as to why Avast won’t let me on the site and keeps giving me a warning with every page I visit on it.
I’ve sent them an email about the possibility of a false-positive, or at least if there’s a way to glean more information from the files it’s sending to the virus chest.

In reply to: Malware or Virus on Site?Wslade, I thought I had, but I didn’t realize it needed to update the definitions first. Running the scan again now.

In reply to: Malware or Virus on Site?Hi wslade,
I tried WordFence, and it came up clean (it did not check a couple of services because those are for paid members only). When I got the error on Sucuri’s site, I disabled Wordfence to see if it was blocking the scan, but it doesn’t look like it.
Edited to add: I’m trying the Anti-Malware now.

Thank you for your response, but I’ve already checked those resources. Do you have any other suggestions?

In reply to: [WooCommerce] "View Cart" brings up an empty page.I managed to solve the issue by switching the page template the Woo Commerce pages were using to “Default Template,” instead of the template that I made during the setup process. I’m not sure why this worked, but it’s something to try if someone else is experiencing this problem.
