Alas, no such luck. it seems to affect the vertical spacing below the share buttons, but the buttons themselves remain in the same position.

It does appear to be an issue with the Pinboard theme. I’ll try posting in that support forum to see if someone can help me iron this out.

I’m still having the same trouble with mine, but only for the official sharing buttons (like, +1, etc). They overlap and I can’t seem to find the right CSS to fix it. Here’s the link for an example:

Glad I’m not the only one that was running in to this. I’d love to check it out, but if the preview doesn’t work I’m skeptical that the full theme is going to mesh well with my site.

Thanks for responding. I’m not sure exactly what was causing it, but I noticed that on one computer it was happening constantly and it wasn’t happening at all on my other computer. I completely cleared the cache and cookies on the computer I was getting that error on and now it works great. Not sure what caused it, but there’s the fix if anyone else stumbles upon this problem.

There’s a reply on the author’s blog asking for this and he said he’d look in to it. I’d guess it’ll pop up in a future release.

Be aware before you install it that it isn’t compatible with WordPress 2.8+. There’s been virtually no word from the author of the plugin as to when that might be fixed.

I had the same issue and eventually settled on the “Section Widgets” plug-in. It works pretty great and you can see it in action here: Chai Life

Hope this gets updated soon! I’ve been looking for something like it and it turns out this is exactly what I wanted. I tried out SidebarTabs, but don’t like the script it uses for the tabs.

Thanks for the help guys! I was able to figure out what was causing the issues and it looks great in IE now. I had some code configured incorrectly in my functions.php file. I still need to go through and fix all the small validation errors, but that’s an issue for another day.

whooami, I see those errors in the widgets, but in what file do I edit the widgets to fix that? I’m not sure that it’s what is causing the formatting issues with the sidebar in IE, but I’d like to fix that as well either way.

Also, macbrink, could that cause the alignment issues I’m having with IE?

I’ve gone through everything that it says is failing, but it’s all small formatting issues in the posts, nothing related to the sidebar that I can see.
