Even for comments? Surely it would make sense to remove the un-allowed tags before adding the comments to the database, so that it reduces the database file size.

Any idea what filters used for the comments? i assume it one used before they submit the content to the database?

WP is fine for this, use the Posts for the Blog and setup pages for the ‘folio.

You are able to use sub-pages and everything you need.

Ive built many sites with WP the biggest being https://www.eurocss.net and every single bit of the site is run through wordpress and plugins (some custom made, some downloaded).

WP would be ideal for what your wanting to do!

Well its not exaclty fully featured, more a work around “With Features” ??

Basicly runs just as EventCalender2 did, but with the added feature of allowing to show the event link over multiple days

Does look like its moved on alot since i last used it, but im quite happy with WP for now as i gives me a reason to hack it up and get more used to the Plugin-API ??

Im looking to take this a step further and be able to add a ‘Custom Field’ to the Events that will have a ‘Finish Date’ which will allow us to flag the event up for each day inbetween the Timestamp date of the post (Event Start) and the Custom Field ‘Finish Date’

Im going to attempt to use the EventCalendar2 as the basis of my plugin but i have a feeling im going to be starting again from scratch, if anyone has done this or has a idea of how to achive this please reply!
