I deactivated the plugins and still “Notifications” is not showing up as one of the options. At one point, PublishPress was working fine. Then it just stopped working and no matter what I do, I’m not able to restore the Notifications” option.

I’ll find another notification option. Thank you for responding.

I am having the same problem as I receive this error message.

Error Details: The registration secrets sent by your site do not match the ones the Jetpack server has on record.

All was working fine, but I needed to upgrade to PHP 7.0. Jetpack no longer permits me to set it up.

I have JetPack deactivated and the Comment option is now working. As soon as I activate JetPack and have it approved at WordPress, the Comment option does not work properly.

Javascript is installed and WP Editor is still missing on the one Windows 7 computer, yet available on another Windows 7 and an iMac. Any more suggestions why the editor is missing?

What plugins might be causing WordPress 3.6 to crash?

I am having the same problem with Comments not working for my users. While I am able to post comments, my readers find the Comment button is dead.

I can deactivate Jetpack and comments will work under the standard WordPress system. However, I then lose the new post notification. Before the most recent Jetpack upgrade, the automatic notification was also not working.

I’ve been told the problem I am having is likely due to conflicts with other plugins. I doubt that, but it might be possible.

I’ve checked all my settings and I am not able to find any settings that might be blocking users from making comments.

I’m using Jetpack “Subscriptions” and I would like to customize the return address when a subscriber receives the notification. Right now the From: address says the message was from WordPress rather than a return address identifying my blog. Where does one go to customize the return address of the blog notification?

I had to shut bbPress down as advertising spam was overwhelming the site. Tags were established by the spammer. Lots of nasty ads coming through. Akismet did not catch these spammers. I had bbPress set so one had to register to post in the Forum. That did not stop the spammers.

I am also beginning to see double posts. If I search for a post, the double does not show up. Nor do I see a double when I select Categories.

This is a recent problem. I’ve not installed any new Plugins since this began to appear a few days ago.

The hosting site is great. I found that uploading Screen Shots and/or photographs does not result in one image per upload. Rather, WordPress picks up multiple images in case one wishes to use different sizes in a blog post. These “shard” images begin to fill up storage space while serving no purpose.

I would like full control over what uploads rather than WordPress making those decisions for me.

If anyone know how to trick WordPress into accepting only one image per upload, let me know. I tried a few combinations inside Settings->Media and have yet to find the correct settings.
