Hi, so I was trying as many things as I could figure out to get it to work, and I tried setting the site to be main page of the blog to see if that would work and it didn’t.

I want the Posts page to be navigable, that is the problem. When I go to the page for the posts blog, the page is messed up, but the posts alternate still exists and works. I’m throughly confused and panicked because my site is essentially half down.

If anyone can advise me on using the archive template to restore other template, such as the blog, please share!

I’m interested in either copying elements or export and import, or any other way.

Over the last 4 days I’ve learned a bit, but there is so much I still don’t understand. I need to do a lot more reading, that is for sure.

I have had some success. I got my blog template alive again. But I can’t figure out how to copy my archive templates blocks to my blog template.

I see how to copy the parts of the archive configurations, but I can’t figure out how to paste them in my existing blog template.

Yes, I backed up, but then I’d be stuck with having to do the same things. If I could just restore what is in the archive, I’d be good, I don’t see how to do that.

It would appear that I can copy the stuff in the Archive and somehow paste it into the blog (alternative) template, but I cannot figure out how to paste it in there, or how to get the blog to show up from my main page link, or any other page.

It appears that that content is in the Archive Template. I don’t know what an archive is and how to get it back into my blog template and how to make my blog visible again.

I went ahead and cleared as suggested. That fixed everything EXCEPT now my nice blog doesn’t appear, and when I try and edit that page, it’s an entirely different page, the formatting and all is gone and the page doesn’t get linked.

I’ll get to work on this tomorrow and thank you!

I just created one, called main template (Not the best name, I know) just now.

Also the page with the correct header has one issue I don’t like, this is a separate issue: The row background is light blue but I want the title to have the cover image as the background and change the font color accordingly.

I don’t know how to tell that. And my memory of the proplem a year ago, I don’t recall the details much to my frustration

Hi, sorry, I replied earlier but it evidently didn’t get posted.

I only have one header template.

However, I recall that before I moved to 2023 from 2022 or 2021, I had some pages that were odd ball out somehow. I wonder if the problem is a remnant of that?
