I’m thinking long and hard on this one. In the past I have used plugins that locked the content down with the New User Approve plugin.

There was some code in the plugin a while ago that did not comply with the WordPress plugin guidelines. I removed the code promptly after being contacted by www.ads-software.com.

The spam shield plugin still has code that blocks the side widgets from displaying. I will soon be releasing an update that will bypass this warning since it is now invalid.

It all depends on how you ended up customizing the login screen. You can’t modify base files without causing problems in the future.

If you setup a style that overrides the default style you will get what you want.

Your need is a bit vague. Could you provide more details of what you are looking for and perhaps provide a use case? That would be helpful to know what you are looking for.

I am not able to recreate this bug. Perhaps it has been fixed on the WordPress side of things. Is anybody still seeing this problem?

The plugin is sending the emails as plain text. There is no email in the plugin that is sent as text/html as you indicate above.

If you would like to send your email as there are at least a few ways to make it happen

WordPress has a filter to set it using the wp_mail_content_type filter.

The plugin has a new_user_approve_email_header filter that will allow you to change the type.

And last but not least you can buy a commercial plugin that will allow you to set an option to send as html at https://newuserapprove.com/

The New User Approve/Deny screen is not getting any new features at this time. In a future release (haven’t determined when) it may go away altogether.

The regular user screen does everything the New User Approve/Deny screen plus a lot more. That is what I am currently supporting.

Is there something you use that screen for that is absolutely necessary for your workflow?

Let us know what is not working. Most features are working as expected.
