Indeed, frontend search results are provided with AJAX.
In that case, am I supposed to tick ‘Admin search : Use Relevanssi for admin searches’ even if I don’t utilise WP admin search? (I do though).

Restricting the second filter to only admin search solved it.

Therefore adding the last function you provided together with the top one works best.

The issue with the previous filter was this:

When the code was added, the admin search was functioning properly returning correct results of taxonomy term searches. On the other hand, the front end search bar of the site was returning totally irrelevant results when inputing a whole word even though existing as a taxonomy. Moreover, indexed taxonomy terms were not provided in the search results.

Strangely, nothing to do with the issue described above and without the code, is it normal for ‘Admin search : Use Relevanssi for admin searches’ to be clicked in order for the front end search to provide taxnonomy results when provided in the search field? It does not when unticked. I thought that this setting was only intended for WP backend.

The code unfortunately interferes with the frontend search and while admin search works fine, the frontend search does not give the right results according to the term provided to it.

Hello,

I activated woocommerce integration add on.

Unfortunately when I deny Products: Delete Taxonomy Terms, taxonomies can be deleted, and only taxonomy terms cannot be deleted.

I wanted to deny deletion of taxonomies a.k.a. attributes (not their terms), deny deletion of taxonomy terms, grant assigning of taxonomy terms and capability to view attributes page with no capability of deleting attributes.

The only way to deny deletion of attributes is to deny Products: Manage Taxonomy Terms (hiding attributes page), but dening that, it also denies assigning taxonomy terms while Products: Assign Taxonomy Terms is granted!

Could you please look into this?

Hi @caseproof,

I don’t see Woocommerce tab (group) in the list of Shop Manager. In addition, clicking on All, there are no such capabilities, manage_taxonomy_terms or delete_taxonomy_terms.

No success with it. Could you please elaborate more?

I do not mean on frontend. I am mean on the backend / wp control panel of a Shop Manager role.

I use WooCommerce. I would like to deny/hide the ‘Delete’ capability of Attributes on Page > WP Control Panel > Products > Attributes, and I would like the Attributes Page to be able to be viewed by the Shop manager.

I was able to deny deletion of attribute terms but could not deny deletion of the attributes themselves.

Just to be more clear > Each Attribute has many attribute terms.
Please let me know if I am clear now.

Just to inform you,

1) In order for the subdomain to work for the secondary Polylang language, I have created the subdomain inside the document root without a subdomain path.

2) I installed plugin https://el.www.ads-software.com/plugins/google-sitemap-plugin/ by which the sitemap https://www.domain.com/default_sitemap.xml is created with both primary and secondary languages.

The SEO Framework under sitemap settings I get:
Note: Another active sitemap plugin has been detected. This means that the sitemap functionality has been superseded and these settings have no effect.

I am not sure which sitemap is the proper one in terms of SEO, (a) The one that includes both primary and secondary languages under a single sitemap or (b) The one that includes pages per language as separate sitemaps? eg https://www.domain.com/sitemap.xml (sitemap for primary language) & de.domain.com/sitemap.xml (sitemap for secondary language)?

In case you find an optimum solution for the creation of sitemaps for multilingual sites under subdomains rather than subdirectories, I will only use The SEO Framework and not additional plugin.

I’ve noticed that ‘variable’ products are being included within the discount percentage sorting array of products even without inserting a sale price to the product, and moreover, if a sale price is inserted, the variable product is not sorted according to its discount percentage.

I would be grateful if you could possibly provide any help on this?

Issue is fixed now in my case. However, on one website the privacy statement within the pop-up is long and has an option for users to chat as guests, while on another website there is no guest chat, and short privacy statement.

The issue minizing the pop-up by clicking on the bubble is fixed.
