Are both links generated from the same campaign ( or campaign type )? Could you also forward a sample campaign with a broken unsubscribe link and another with a working unsubscribe link to brian at noptin.com so that I can take a look?

Finally, click on the broken unsubscribe link and then visit Noptin > Subscribers > The email recipient > Activity and check the URL that was logged as having been clicked.

That’s because the Noptin JavaScript is not loaded the page. Maybe you removed this script as part of your performance optimization?

Our subscription forms require the JavaScript to be loaded. You can create custom forms that don’t require JavaScript.

No problem. This process is often referred to as “flushing the permalinks.”

When you do this, WordPress regenerates the .htaccess file and updates the permalink structure for your site. It’s a sort of “reset” that can resolve various issues, especially those related to accessing new or updated pages and post types

The reason this can fix such problems is that sometimes the permalink structure gets “stuck” or encounters conflicts, particularly after updates, new plugin installations, or changes in settings. This can lead to errors or issues when WordPress tries to find the correct path to a page or post.

By re-saving the permalinks, you’re essentially telling WordPress to take another look at how it’s organizing and accessing your content, which can clear up these issues.

Do open and click stats show? Or are they all zeros?

Also let us know if you have a multi-lingual plugin on your site so that we can test with it. Most tend to redirect URLs that don’t have a language to the homepage.

If possible, include a sample unsubscribe URL in your reply. You can replace your website’s name with example.com

Could you please try re-saving your settings via Settings > Permalinks and let me know if the problem disappears.

I still don’t understand. Noptin won’t send the email when no posts are published in the category. Is that not the case on your end?

Alternatively, install yesterday’s update and then edit the email using the new visual editor. Add the posts block and you’ll have options to send/not send the email when no posts are found. You’ll also have options to only send posts published since the last send or to always send the latest posts.

If you still need a hook then you can use the “noptin_post_digest_merge_tag_query” to filter the query used to match posts.
