Great, it must be my cache in Opera then, kind of persistant. The reinstall worked everywhere ! I’m so happy!

even in preview I don’t have the coming soon screen with a dark image and some text. but this one has possibilities of conflicts. I have many plugins.
On the 2 others after a new install it worked.

Now I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the plugin and it works. I’m going to try that on the 3 other websites to see if it solves the issue also. Maybe it’s something with the last update that didn’t work.

In fact it’s not related to the plugin in my library, it’s not working either when it’s deactivated

@esilverstrike where do you find any trash in the media library ?

I understand my explainations are not quite clear.

I want to create media folders with PDFs inside
Each media on my template have an attachment page
The content of the page is the description of the file.
in the description I enter my shortcode to display the PDF open with “Embed any document” (I made a mistake on the plugin earlier) on my attachment page

Now I have attachments pages I would like to display into my Menu
I use JC SUBMENU to populate automatically menus from subpages or categories
And I see in JC Menu the ability to pick the attachment pages per category (are your folders categories?)
but it sounds that these pages can’t be put into a menu

That’s why I hoped to solve my issue with your plugin
this way :
Put folder page in the menu
So I have page with all the PDFs
but on clic I don’t want to download the PDF, I’d like to link to the attachment page where people can read inline my PDF

In the end what I wanted was simple. I just wanted a menu of pages with my PDFs open but I don’t want to have to create a page everytime for it, I wanted to use the native attachment page so I just have to upload the file, put the shortcode in the description and the rest is done automatically ^^

if not, the attachment pages are useless.. why do we have these if we can’t ad them to the menu grrr

Found it ! I need to be in list mode.

I’m looking also for being able to style the texte with bold and italic into the conversation. I see it doesn’t keep the style in the bubbles.

And a line for the date would be a good option to add to the plugin. I don’t know, it sounds good to display a conversation on several days and keep track of time.

Juste change the name “Etienne” of the person who is supposed to be “me” into the file conversation.php but you keep //Me: into the conversation
I just don’t know how I could add the ability to decide the bubble color for each person in the shortcode. It would be perfect if as we define the avatar we could also define the bubble background we want for this person.

It would be nice to have an option to change only the text color in the menu.

I have the same issue. The thumbnail in the media gallery should be excluded. No thumb in Media after upload and no image in my articles editor unless I choose the original image size.

Thanks, I found a plugin doing that : Real category management. Quite awesome.
Both yours and theirs should be in wordpress native admin, it’s so practical to navigate that way but actually it’s not possible to have both at the same time so I activate the one I need when I need it.
