You should be able to disable Facebook plug-in by going to Page Template Page.php or single page single page.php and writing a IF criteria around

Take a look at https://www.piggyway.org/blog – FB app does not appear on individual pages (Home / About) but appears in the blog post. Still a beta site. Shall let you know as I find more
