In reply to: [WP Accessibility] jquery is deprecated for wp 5.6hi joe,
thanks for your fast reply and update. i tested it on the local copy website – the small info-symbols now show up as expected, but clicking on it only shows a white shape with the longdesc text lacking. can you help me with that?
thanks in advance!problem not solved but replaced to another part of wordpress: the plugin wp accessibility is causing the troubles.
just found out what part causes the problem:
jQuery.fn.toggle(handler, handler…) is deprecated
what can i do to make the toogle event work again?hi mailpoet,
supposedly your mail was recognised as spam… can you tell me the email address you use for your replies, please?
thanks!left alone in the dark, i fiddled around with the defected website.
in the end i realized that the problem was caused by the fact that i had installed wordpress in a subdirectory and used a htaccess redirect to access the site via the top level domain adress.
as soon as wp was installed in the main directory all in one calendar worked as it should.
i hope this will help people with the same problem!i guess i have the same problem – maybe my url https://komm-tanzen.at/calendar/ enables hristo pandjarov to look into it and hopefully narrow down the problem…
i’d appreciate it very much!Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WP Latest Posts] styling posts with category classtoo bad. thanks for your quick reply, though in my case did not help. the design envisages certain font colors and border colors. i thought i could adress the category in the wplp-front.inc.php but i failed due to my lacking php skills.

PROBLEM SOLVED:
it was caused by wrongly set rights for the content directory, which was set th chmod 710. my server host set it to 750 and now the images are shown properly.update:
my provider informed me that they don’t have any hotlinking protection active. also i don’t have activated it myself through any htaccess file.
the reason for the failure of showing post thumbnails therefore remains unclear.dear jamesmillerlifeology, thanks for the description how you solved the problem – sadly this did not work for me. in my settings, “show image” is active ok but the images are replaced by placeholders and the symbol for a broken file link. i am using the latest version of the newsletter plugin and wordpress.
as stefano lissa adviced, i contacted my provider for checking the server settings on hotlinking protection. i am still waiting for his answer.i have the same problem.
i installed the plugin recently. from the beginning the post thumbnails have not been shown – neiter in the draft nor in the test email i sent to myself.
i checked the image url which is correct, but trying to open it by entering the url directly in the browser address field throws a 403 error.
is there a problem with the chmod settings maybe? i tried to set them manually from 710 to 755 but to no avail.Forum: Themes and Templates
