So I opened a random post that’s already published. In the standard post editing window, I tap on the Yoast sidebar > Advanced > Breadcrumbs Title, and I don’t have anything in that field. To clarify, though, I’ve never had anything in that field, for any of my posts on this site or my other website.

Is this something I’m supposed to be setting for each individual post? Is there a global setting / code snippet I can use to dynamically insert that?

Hi @talextech — But this is essentially just an internal link, which I want to act like an external one, ideally sitewide. Is that not possible?

e.g.: I have an image displayed normally in my post, but it’s also linked to itself (https://domain.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/13/this-is-my-image.jpg) so the larger version opens in a new tab, full size.

Can’t that link (and all links with the https://domain.com/wp-content/uploads/ directory structure) be treated as an external link via the Excluded tab, or through some other setting?

@kevin-maschke – Just saw that with WordPress 5.8, a new Query Loop block type was released. Been playing around with it and it’s super simple to use. You can display posts by tag and even keywords, and you can adjust the positions in which titles, feature images, excerpts, etc. are displayed.

I still very much want to use this Genesis filter (but for tags) though it seems that functionality won’t be added any time soon.

Hi @sterndata – I noticed that ticket was closed. Is there a fix to this issue? Currently on Genesis (I don’t have the Gutenberg plugin since it’s built in to the Genesis framework)

I’m still seeing this bug. Are the two current solutions to wait til 5.6.2 or downgrade to 5.6?
