It was lazy loading!!! the posts on load events got me to thinking about how this can cause issues, and I remembered it being a setting. It was set different between the two sites, missed that somehow, so problem fixed. Shame that lazy loading is usually so problematic.

Sorry for the delay, had an emergency where my laundry room turned into a swimming pool – Twice!

I feel I essentially did that in comparing plugins on the site that works versus the one that doesn’t, and I deactivated any that were different. It is slightly different to do the Troubleshooting aspect so will go through that exercise since there aren’t any other viable solutions at this point.

THank you so much for your help!!! Unfortunately that did not work. Afterwards I cleared the cache on the server side along with the theme cache, Avada (which both sites use). And went incognito to be certain. Still getting same result.

Ok. Nothing works and I get a blank screen, so I don’t have much to show you. Even going with the native theme for WP and NO plugins loaded, it should work. I don’t have a lot of time, support multiple websites, and time is money for most. I am in the two week trial so will expect a refund if you can’t get it sorted. The customer is also keen to start advertising her website, so more time I spend on this keeps me away from a long term solution if you can’t solve it post haste.

Nice attitude @affmngr. I would have possibly submitted multiple tickets per suggestion of @mbrsolution but with your attitude you’ve ensured that we will not do business with you. We were even looking at purchasing an add-on. I have been in IT for 30 years and worked in software development all over the planet, certified in Scrum. I have never seen something so riddled with issues. Most certainly nothing this bad has EVER came out of the many teams I had.

Time is money, and I don’t have the time to help you fix your plugin with its NUMEROUS issues. The UX is horrible as well. And I most certainly am not going to spend money with you if this is your attitude. Why don’t you leave your ego at the door before you sink your business with it.

I’ve been getting this error for four months, through all the upgrades with WP. At one point someone said it was on WP to fix this. Is this still the case? I see this marked as resolved, and it is clearly not the case. I’m just getting nervous to be so out of date on WP.

I am having this problem too. What is the fix? if you click on the links it goes correctly to the site, but if you click on Translate page it brings up the Janapanese one. I can’t find anything anywhere.

Thanks for your continued help Ben. I saw that. However, I don’t have a plugin like that, and it is turned off in both Smush and W3TC. I’ve deactivated Smush to be sure. The weird thing about this is if I send a Test message, the images come through no problem. But when we get a message from the customer they do not. It makes no sense, the path shouldn’t be different. So at this point I need to wait for a customer order to come in to see if deactivating Smush made any difference. I also know that lazy loading was supposed to be part of WP 5.4.x however I upgraded to that after this problem started happening.

Here is what we are seeing , does this help at all. Seems like some images get the broken image icon, others get a blank box. BTW, everything is up to date, and when I sent a test email from Woo yesterday the images worked just fine, but acustomer order came through later and it’s still broken. From my sysadmin:

OK, thank you for your help. very minor difference on that x, I see what you mean now. I thought it was a copy/paste mistake. We’re looking at it.

Also, behaviour changed this morning to blank boxes, instead of the broken image icon. I haven’t done anything to the system in the last 24 hours… But cannot speak for our sysadmin… Any ideas on what would cause that change?

Sorry, I was getting notifications of responses and then I didn’t on these last couple. @britner the URLs look exactly the same that you pasted in. Is the x at the end something different and how can I see this myself?

Sorry, more info. SO our sys admin added info to the header last week, and I saw the image come in on an email, and so did our marketing director. But now it is gone again. I don’t understand, just sharing what I know…

Actually sorry, I just tried, and I cannot see it. And I relogged in as admin, and still cannot see it, but I can see it in WP, in Email Customizer. TO be clear, if someone has the direct URL, no matter what, they can see the image? I swe3ar we were able to see it via the URL last week, and our marketing director said he saw them briefly in the emails too. Hate intermittent issues… But I will be VERY honest. Our sysadmin does things and then doesn’t admit to it. SO if there are no other answers, I/we have to focus on the migration to a new hosting environment where he now has more control…
