  • Demis,

I did provide the name of the theme.
Also was the answer labeled “nb” supposed to be for me as well?
If so, I’m not sure it applies. My website is not boxed layout, like most sites, it’s full width of course. And I was not aware there was any container or content over my image. There’s nothing to make transparent to my knowledge. The site is not live, it’s on my local server, so there’s no way to view it. Thanks

Installed it to my Vantage Premium theme (which does have custom-background feature) but nothing happened. I added picture after picture but no image showed up. I set it to scroll, fixed, overlay, no overlay, everything and still nothing ever showed up in any way.

Start Logic. They’ve been the culprit for other stuff before. I should have thought of them. LOL

    Thanks!
I’m not entirely sure. I changed it back to Nivo. It’s working but just ok. It’s a bit sticky and jumpy at times still. I basically deactivated any plugins I wasnt currently using and it started working a little better. I happened to have the same slider type running on another client’s site and that site’s was working perfectly so I tried to mimic the active plugins to be the same as the other site. It’s still a little sketchy though so I’ll post again if it reverts back to not working. Thanks!

    Hi!
Thanks for the reply but I had already checked that page before posting my question. That’s why I made sure to mention that I had already made sure the original email was enabled and made sure that we werent using the admin email when completing the form.

And yet, we are still not getting confirmations.

Or perhaps it just didn’t function well. I have 2 other animation plugins working perfectly so if it is a problem with plugin/theme THAT is still a problem.

Nevertheless, the moderator’s job is not to discourage users from posting their personal opinion of THEIR experience with an item. I downloaded the plugin in good faith that it would function as seamlessly as any other I use AND IT DID NOT. I shouldn’t have to troubleshoot a plugin the first minute I install it and I DANG sure don’t have to justify my review.

Others animators worked fine, this one did not. Thus bad review. That’s reasonable. If this plugin is too special to be subject to the same review process that EVERY OTHER plugin endures, then perhaps WP is not the place for it.
