By default each site will have its own Gift Card database keeping track of numbers/balances separately. To allow a gift card to be used on any site in the multisite network, perform these steps. It will switch to use the central gift card database for all numbers and balances:

1. Log into your FTP site and edit wp-config.php
2. Edit wp-config.php and scroll to the end. Add the code above the line that says “stop editing” or something similar:

define( 'PWGC_MULTISITE_SHARED_DATABASE', true );

/* That's all, stop editing */

1. Save the wp-config.php file and re-upload it to your server.

A white screen means that something on the server is throwing an error. This could be a conflict with another plugin or something else. We need to examine the log file from the server to find out more.

Could you perform the following steps please:

1. Log into your FTP site and edit wp-config.php
2. Set the following values (add the lines if they don’t exist):
   define( ‘WP_DEBUG’, true );
   define( ‘WP_DEBUG_LOG’, true );
   define( ‘WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY’, false );
   @ini_set( ‘display_errors’, 0 );
3. Return to the site and trigger the error again.
4. Now go back to FTP and send me the file /wp-content/debug.log
5. Return to wp-config.php and set DEBUG back to false (reverting the changes made in Step 2)

If you aren’t comfortable with performing the steps above, contact your website host and they will be able to assist you in locating this log file.

You must uninstall the free version before installing the Pro version. You will not lose any gift card data or customizations.

To uninstall the free version, follow these steps:

1. Log into your WordPress admin area.
2. Click on Plugins > Installed Plugins.
3. Scroll down and locate “PW WooCommerce Gift Cards”
4. If you have the free version (doesn’t say “Pro” in the title) then click on Deactivate and Delete. You will not lose any gift cards or customizations.

Now you can install and activate the Pro version.

Sorry to hear that you’re having trouble. The link points to a category of products but I don’t see which one is the PW Gift Card product. It looks like all of those products are the Simple Product type.

Can you provide a link directly to that product?

Filtering by Attribute is only available in the PW Bulk Edit Pro version.

By default, the customer can continue using the gift card until the balance reaches zero.

If you want to force the gift card to only be used 1 time, follow the instructions in our guide:
