I submitted a 3rd ticket with a mention of this forum post included. The response I got seems quite strange. The reply is asking me to create a second administrative account for my website and to give this company, Inpsyde, the credentials to access administrative control over my account.

Inpsyde is a Woocommerce affiliate but is not Woocommerce directly. I’ve never heard of them and their website is in German. All of this is really strange and suspicious. Hopefully this isn’t Woo’s routine customer support? Referring clients to third party vendors who want full administrative access to the website?

Is there any work around? Does this sound accurate to you? I am confused ??

@stuartduff, the page it’s trying to find is whatever the “connect store” link is sending me to.

^ is the link it triggers, which redirects to the “oops” page.

I’ve submitted 2 support tickets at woocommerce.com. The first one was replied to with “Please submit a ticket with woocommerce.com, or post on this forum”

So I posted on this forum and submitted a second identical ticket from the same website I used the first time.

Another update: I have been reading about fraudulent purchases. I’m still unclear about whether or not this is a major issue that could cost me somewhow, BUT I disabled the “allow customers to place an order without logging in” check box, and installed a salvo of plugins to limit sign in attempts and hide the login URL for my website.

Before I did this, I removed all of my items for sale. Then once my new measures were in place, I reactivated a few. I hope this stops :s

Deactivating the listing helped. But 6 minutes ago the spam started again on a different listing…

After 431 failed orders, I deactivated the listing. All orders are coming from email addresses ending in “@tokwapiso.com” and this all started when a “Goro Shigeno” placed 3 orders this morning. I looked up the name and it seems to be some kind of anime character’s name. All of this is super suspicious.

Maybe I should refund the 10 orders that went through??

I learned today about “Inspect Element” and playing around with coding for specific elements, then copying those rules into my style.CSS ^_^

The sites opens fine, but could you access my shop? There’s a link in the menu. Maybe I should have directly linked the shop page. It’s just /shop added to the root URL

My cPanel does have a cron job tool. Frankly I’ve never heard of it though and don’t know how to use it.

Thanks for the quick reply. I only have 1 WP site. It’s just a small, simple personal business site with a shop. Nothing fancy. I own a second domain, but it exists only as a redirect to my new website and is not a WP website. It has no coding or files, just an automated redirect feature I set up in my cPanel.

My plugin page no longer shows Total Upkeep as a plugin. My WP Dashboard menu bar no longer shows Total Upkeep. As far as I can tell I deleted it successfully.

I posted the same thread on the forum you linked. I also have a problem with another plugin but can’t figure out how to find sub-forums for specific plugins. Any direction on where to find the right spot to post? The plugin I have an issue with is Really Simple SSL

My response to both replies here is: I have completely deactivated and deleted Total Upkeep. From what I can tell, TU is what is/was handling the backups. The emails still reference TU as my backup agent. But it’s deleted… So what is creating the backups? If it’s not TU/BG, then moving to another forum won’t help. If it isn’t a plugin doing the backups, switching plugins isn’t going to help, right? At that point i’d just have 2 different things creating backups and crashing my site even harder.

It appears that a fourth backup is being conducted at the moment… Jet Pack backups are still turned off…
