It’s working with Elementor’s Page Templates that is the issue, not styling individual entries.

For example, if I make a page template consisting of a Header, dynamic Site Title, dynamic Description, dynamic Featured image – this will not work with Modern Tribe’s Event Calendar.

Event Calendar doesn’t pull titles through or anything else.

The same with the archive pages for the main calendar.

This is quite a basic need, and every other plugin can pass the page title and meta descriptions over.

@elpezquemuerde did you manage to get the page/event title passing through to elementor template? We are still stuck on this.

It’s so frustrating – every other plugin works fine. We may need to try MEC.

Thanks Geoff – we are having huge issues getting elementor templates to work on TEC pages. For example the custom post type ‘events’ and the events archive both fail to honor elementor templates.

I am unsure if this is an elementor issue or TEC though it’s worth highlighting the templates work with all other custom post types from other plugins we are using.

Unfortunately both elementor support and TEC support are taking weeks to respond each time.

IF that’s the case, why is it suddenly an issue now if you’ve always used this API?

In that case can we roll back the plugin so it uses the same API as al other plugins?

Yes we do. Does this mean our regular contact form will not work or just the notification from updraft?

I have the same problem, we are not running Simple Calendar but we are running the following plugins – all by Modern Tribe:

Events Calendar
Events Calendar Pro
Event Tickets
Event Ticket Plus

Removing these is not possible.
