    Thanks. Those are the instructions I tried to follow. It’s not clear to me if I’m moving to a new server or within my site. I tried the instructions for the new server. It seemed to work except that comments were giving 404 error.

    Thanks for your reply. I have two more questions. Can I transfer this blog as is to wordpress.com?

    And to back up the content which folder do I need to copy to my computer?

    exbionic,

    thanks. I found #categorydiv in wp-admin.css and changed the height there, that worked for me.

    Thanks. I sent a request to [email protected] asking for help with development of a similar site to crunchgear.

    I see, thanks. What about the rating stuff. I know another site that uses digg style rating with WordPress, but I couldn’t find it now. Any advice about that?

    I assume I need to find a consultant to do the customization with Java script login. Any recommendations?

    Kafkaesqui,

    Thanks for the link. That solved the problem.

    If this is the right place, I wanted to ask your opinion on this. When I got the theme K2 I didn’t know that it was not supported in WP forums. Since this complicates improving my blog and makes it difficult to find help, I was wondering if it is worth using K2 instead of another theme? What do I gain by using K2 over the default theme?

    Thanks again

    Thanks for your review. I think it is a great idea to add categories on every page. I did some search but I could not find how to do that. I found this code in JohnPT’s page but unfortunately he doesn’t mention where the code should go:

    <div><h2>Categories</h2>

      <?php list_cats(0, ”, ‘name’, ‘asc’, ”, 1, 0, 1, 1, 1, 1, 0,”,”,”,”,”) ?>

    </div>

    Do you know where I should be pasting this code?

    Or can you suggest another way to add categories on every page?

    By the way, I fixed the text-align problem and removed the extra white space. It is so much more pleasant to work with WP than MT.

    Thanks

    Thanks for your reply. After I posted my question I tried again and I noticed that the post went through as rag right. So problem solved.

    I am using K2 and this is what I have in the style sheet:

    .primary .item .itemtext {
    font: 1.1em/1.5em Verdana, Arial, Sans-Serif;
    text-align: left;
    color: #444;
    }

    And this is my blog:

    Thanks again.
