I finally just deleted it and went with another app. This one lacks support too much.

In reply to: [Revision Control] Does not work last updateI’m getting the same error after updating to 2.2 from 2.1:
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/explorat/public_html/wp-content/plugins/revision-control/revision-control.php on line 270
I’m noticing this forum isn’t getting any attention from the developer so I’ll have to uninstall and put something else in it’s place.

In reply to: [Tweetily - Tweet Your Posts Automatically!] fatal error after authorizeI have this identical problem when trying to authorize my Twitter account.
Mine reads:
Fatal error: Cannot use object of type WP_Error as array in /home/explorat/public_html/wp-content/plugins/tweetily-tweet-wordpress-posts-automatically/Include/top-oauth.php on line 100
I’m truly sad about this because this is a plugin that’s always worked well for me.
Which plugin did you d/l? Was it the copyright one? Once you install it, you need to look at the settings for it and set it to the level of protection you want.
@leslie – the code you use to prevent your images from being crawled by Google Images is: <meta name=”robots” content=”noimageindex”>
This code should be anywhere in between your <head> and </head>. I did this about a month ago and it worked for me.
@littlelouise – Not knowing what else you’d like to protect, I’m not sure how to advise you. There are a variety of plugins and protections for a variety of things needing protected. Would you be more specific?
Just to be clear, it’s always understood that using the methods I suggested above will only stop the average image stealer. Those who steal images for more than sport will be able to do so, no matter what you do. However, I don’t seem to have problems with the pros stealing my images, my biggest theft problems are people who believe, “If it’s on the internet, it must be free” type people.
I’ve also added the code to my site to keep Google Images out, thus reducing my photos being found in a Google Image search, which is where the VAST majority of my images are stolen, especially since they changed to showing a full-sized image that is easily stolen.

In reply to: Protecting Images on WP based websiteI prefer to not use watermarks as it’s a travel site, not a portfolio site. I found the solution, as you can see from my prior post.
Problem is solved by adding a plugin that removes the image link, called Remove Image Link.
It won’t stop ALL theft, but it will stop a huge majority of it, keeping the more honest image thieves honest.
Sandy – I found a solution to the problem…
This is to be used in conjunction with a no right-click plugin, such as the one you’re already using.
Do a search for another plugin that removes the image links, such as Remove Image Links https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/remove-image-links/
Once that’s installed and activated, your images become non-clickable. I just added this to my site, https://www.explorationtravelmagazine.com, and it works as it says it will.

In reply to: Protecting Images on WP based websiteNever mind – I found a solution – used in conjunction with a no right-click plugin, I also found a plug in that removes image links, thus making them as theft proof as I can, given the nature of image thieves and their desire to steal.
Sandy, I’m having the same problem as you, where the images in the articles are fine with regard to no right-click allowed. It’s when the image is clicked on, thus opened in a new tab, that it is no longer protected.
I don’t like the idea of having to add yet another plugin to load photos onto a page so I’m here searching for alternatives.
I don’t want to watermark all the photos on my site, so that’s not a solution at all, as my site is a travel site… People kind of come to see the photos.
If I figure something out, I’ll let you know.

In reply to: WP 3.4 update seems to have messed up page tab headersYeah, this seems to be a bit of a poser.
I’m going to see what, if anything, the theme developers say. I might have to go through the whole process of changing themes. I have one I bought several months ago and never implemented…
Might be time, so long as there’s an update making it compatible with 3.4.

In reply to: WP 3.4 update seems to have messed up page tab headersSwansonPhotos – I used that plugin, got it all setup, was hopeful things would be different. Nope – it still posted the same generic stuff.
And, WPyogi – I don’t really want to go through the whole “switch to the default theme” because I’m simply not that smart when it comes to WP and websites. I don’t want to mess things up totally with the site.

In reply to: WP 3.4 update seems to have messed up page tab headersI just turned off every plugin I had and tried manually posting a link in my FB page and it still did the same thing.
It’s obviously not a plugin problem. I am also in contact with the developers of my theme to see if it’s an upgrade they need to do. However, I’m feeling, more and more, as though this is a WP coding issue.

tumblrI think that’s it… Anywhere a preview of the link is given, it comes up with the title being Article and the description being Let us help you plan your next adventure
Also, this only cropped up with the upgrade – the tab at the top of ALL posts now says Article.
