Final update: The problem with the images loading was apparently caused by leftover URLs pointing to my testing server. After changing the links (individually) to the correct URL, everything appears solid!

Looks like I don’t need help after all! (Who am I kidding? Something else is bound to break soon!)

OK, another update. Using the error message above, I deleted the functions.php file in my child theme (which only had a strip slashes function in it to begin with), and now I am able to see and login via wp-admin.

Of course, the problems haven’t ended. They’ve only changed. Now I’m able to login, and my site works, but most of my images are not loading.

This gets weirder and weirder.

Update: After deactivating all my plugins and trying the /wp-admin page again, I get the following error message:

I can get that (the box that says “Photo A Day” with 355 photos), but I’m wondering if there’s a way to also include the description of the photoset in there as well. It’s the secondary text listed under the photoset title when you’re viewing the set in Flickr.

That was the issue. I was using the auto-generated excerpt instead of the excerpt box. Thank you for being patient and helping me figure this out. Five stars on your plugin! Highly recommended!

Still not working with TwentyTwelve and with all other plugins disabled.

I actually don’t have a host yet. I’m working locally with a test server. But I’m using the free Max Magazine theme if that helps. Are there other settings I should have enabled for this to work?

Thanks! I apologize, but even with the update installed, I can’t seem to get the paragraph breaks to show up in the excerpt. I’ve tried with both the <p></p> and
tags, and neither seems to work. The paragraphs appear in the full post, but still not the excerpt.
