Thank you so much. Yes I do have it set to alert me when non admin user signs in and I went through and checked them all and they are all subscribers under the subscriber tab and I’m the only admin listed. Now I’m understanding more of how the admin section is working. Sometimes you don’t know what you don’t know.

Hi this question has not been answered.

I have over 80 subscribers to my blog and I just discovered that when I login it says: A user with username “piper” who has administrator access signed in to your WordPress site.

And another day I get an email that says: A non-admin user with username “ISKJameybpyd” signed in to your WordPress site.

WHAT does this mean? has this person signed into MY admin section OR is it because he is a SUBSCRIBER and reading my blog?

I’m just trying to understand how all this works. Thanks for any help given.

Yes I am the only user. They logged in by another name. I still have the emails.

I’m also wondering if this email might be a mistake? I really did have a complicated password and I’m surprised that a bot might have gotten through?

It’s not working. I know how to change the front page settings and all, I did it with my other word press site, but there is still that tab called home. ( mygothcorner.com )

I’m trying to change the tab name

right now I have 2 pages across the top

one is called gardening success stories and the other is called home.

I’m trying to find a way to change the tab “home” to something else.

Look at my page and you will see across the top the two pages.

No matter what I do in the reading or writing section of my dashboard, that does not help me to change the word “home”. I tried dozens of things with my other word press site and still have the tab “home”

Every single wordpress theme comes with that first tab called home and then the title “hello world”

I’m still looking through google for answers but no luck yet.
