    Hey @garethrtac,

    That is an interesting question! It looks like you have a couple of options for this:

    1. Do it yourself through CSS code. There is a great explanation on how to do it here: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/nsfw-remove-product-categories-not-just-on-single-product-pages/ (It says NSFW so don’t click on the link, but safe otherwise!)
    2. Hire a custom developer to help you out with that.

    Best of luck!

    Hello @vishvega,

    I’m sorry to hear you’re running into problems getting this set up – I’m sure it is frustrating!

    To recap, it sounds like you’ve gone through the setup wizard and are having some problems choosing a catalog, as well as an error displaying:

    Catalogue is not associated with the shop tied to your Page or Instagram account.

    After doing some digging on Facebook’s website I see that they say that your Commerce account, Instagram account, and Facebook Page must be connected to the same Business Manager.

    Do you perhaps have different Business Managers? Additionally, do you have a Commerce account? Facebook has some step-by-step instructions here on where to check those settings on their end:

    https://www.facebook.com/business/help/1122222851277569

    Alternatively, you may want to get in touch with Facebook Business Extension support in case they can provide additional information on the error messages you’re getting here: https://www.facebook.com/help/contact/552096935652452

    On a separate note, I notice you have a fairly outdated version of WooCommerce, you are on 4.7.1 and 5.3.0 is available (WooCommerce Shipping & Tax is also a bit out of date). Keeping WooCommerce updated is always a good idea! As always, we recommend creating a backup of your site and making sure that the themes and plugins are compatible before updating. You can check out this update guide for more information.

    I hope that helps, and if you have any further questions please let us know with a reply. Have a great day!`

    Hey @ocean75 ,

    I’m sorry to hear that FB is denying the store creation. As this is developed by Facebook and they are the ones to approve access, they would need to be contacted regarding the store denial.

    Otherwise, your workaround would be the best option. If you take a moment to create a thread on the ideas board, I’m happy to give it some votes. ??

    Have a lovely weekend!

    Heya @ocean75,

    I think there may have been a bit lost in translation here, so I’ll try to add clarity about the next steps. Syncing does not need to be enabled to do thisWhen it comes to 4500 registered products, they can be downloaded onto a .csv through the core WooCommerce Product CSV Importer and Exporter. From there you can set a custom tag in the Tags column and import the .csv back into WooCommerce with the new tag associated to all products. For Facebook to avoid syncing those products, go to Marketing > Facebook > Product Sync** and add the custom tag here: https://d.pr/i/ffQUwH

    Any new products made in WooCommerce still need to have the tag associated to avoid syncing in the future.

    If the above does not work for you, we can try to get to the root issue to see what is conflicting with Facebook, but will need you to open up a support request on WooCommerce.com as well as a System Status Report and any fatal errors on that request.

    Thanks!

    Hello @navidnouhi,

    There are some things I’d like you to try, and if they don’t work out for you, we will need you to put in a [support request on WooCommerce.com] so that we can more securely work together and dig deeper into the issue. Additionally, if you haven’t created an account with us yet, please do and add Stripe to the account so we can assist you most efficiently.

    But before you do that, there are some things to set up first:

    The first place I would start would be to review the Setup & Configuration steps within the Stripe Documentation. Specifically, you want to make sure that you have your live and publishable keys added to the settings. Those are generated within the Stripe Dashboard.

    Additionally, SOFORT requires it to be enabled under Payment Settings in your Stripe.com Dashboard and does require additional information to be set up.

    If you continue to run into issues after reviewing the set up process, please open up the support request and we can continue troubleshooting with you.

    Thanks!

    Hey @ikaroweb,

    If you’re looking to add it to the variation description, I recommend adding HTML to that field to set where read more should exist. There are lots of resources online on how to do that – but hopefully that points you in the right direction.

    Cheers!

    Hey @chynee,

    I compared the screenshot provided to my own test site with only Storefront and WooCommerce active and it looks as though Type has been added by a plugin as it does not exist in core WooCommerce: https://d.pr/i/7njecv

    I recommend going through your plugin list to see what may be adding that setting.

    Cheers!

    Hey there @natalia100,

    If LearnDash did not add SKUs to their course product-type, there isn’t much that can be done outside of getting a custom developer to work with you to get that added that product.

    If you want to try a shot in the dark/possible workaround, export your items into a spreadsheet using the Product CSV Importer and Exporter found in core WooCommerce and then import them back in with a SKU associated. I can’t guarantee that will add a SKU, but is the only way I can think of potentially adding it.

    Otherwise, if you want to move to a WooCommerce LMS, we have Sensei and WooCommerce Paid Courses – which are coded with WooCommerce in mind as it is our code.

    I will close out this ticket now since this really is a LearnDash ticket, but hopefully that will point you in the right direction .

    Hello @mundolatas!

    It is likely that Sitepress Multilingual CMS didn’t update their code to the changes in WooCommerce 5.3, causing the fatal error. They will need to update their code to work with WooCommerce and I recommend reaching out to them to see the status of that update.

    Hey @angieperaza!

    If you’re looking for recommendations on how to search by category only, I recommend our [Search Products Pro](https://woocommerce.com/products/search-products-pro/) or [Product Finder](https://woocommerce.com/products/product-finder/) extensions. There are other plugins you can find here on www.ads-software.com and I recommend giving that a look over. In the end, you’re going to need some code to get you there as it isn’t an option in default WooCommerce.

    I hope this points you in the right direction!

    Hello @mariodts!

    To add css only on product categories and subcategories, you will need to add a piece of code to your theme’s functions.php file.

    // add taxonomy term to body_class
    function woo_custom_taxonomy_in_body_class( $classes ){
    if( is_singular( 'product' ) )
    {
    $custom_terms = get_the_terms(0, 'product_cat');
    if ($custom_terms) {
    foreach ($custom_terms as $custom_term) {
    $classes[] = 'product_cat_' . $custom_term->slug;
    }
    }
    }
    return $classes;
    }
    add_filter( 'body_class', 'woo_custom_taxonomy_in_body_class' );

    The CSS class to target would be product_cat_SLUG, where SLUG is changed with the category slug.The slug can be found by viewing the categories under Products > Categories, they are lower case with spaces replaced with dashes.

    Hey there @ikaroweb!

    It is possible to add a read more tag! The read more feature can be added through the product page in the visual editor. You can see a screenshot here on where that lives: https://d.pr/i/c5rdMs

    Hope this helps! ??

    Hey @andioh,

    To clarify what is going on here, it sounds like the site https://andreas-reitberger.de/ sells virtual items. When using PayPal Standard, the order would move to Completed when finished. After moving to PayPal Checkout, the virtual orders go to Processing instead of Completed. It should be moving to Completed if all the products are virtual.

    This is going to need deeper troubleshooting. Please contact us at WooCommerce.com > My Account > Support. You may need to create an account before you can access that page.

    Hello @missminx,

    Thanks for the clarification on what is happening with the site items. It is definitely frustrating when blockers like these pop up when trying to set up your store.

    my newly published products are showing a blank page. Whereas they show in the gallery, once clicked on the item i get a blank page.

    After visiting both of the links above, I am able to see the product, and am even able to add it to the cart. https://d.pr/i/uJysjt

    Are you still experiencing a blank page? And does the blank page show across all browsers? Did you change anything (such as updates) between now and the last reply?

    In the meantime I would lean toward clearing your cache if you are still experiencing a blank page.

    Thanks!

    Hey there @logicred!

    From your description, it sounds like the site could use some conditional statements to make your shipping scenario work. “If this, then that…” “If the shipping from X is lower than Y, then only show X.”

    For this I recommend checking out the Advanced Shipping Packages plugin. It helps set those conditional statements and will offer quite a bit of functionality that you may be able to use down the line, as well.
