Thanks for use Ascent theme.

I have checked the above issue. For now you just edit the themes ‘main.js’ file and it will work.

Remove/disable this below lines main.js(Line number 61)

/* Swipe Box */
if (jQuery().swipebox) {
    jQuery("a[href$='.jpg'], a[href$='.png'], a[href$='.jpeg'], a[href$='.gif']").swipebox();
 }

After edit the line, Theme default lightbox will disable and NextGEN Gallery lightbox will work.

Will fixed the issue on next version release.

Did you add featured image to the Post? Please show me the link which one you posted on Facebook.

Actually I have fixed the below error on the latest version theme(1.0.8)

“Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_OBJECT_OPERATOR in /home/ashleyma/public_html/wp-content/themes/ascent/options-framework/includes/class-options-framework-admin.php on line 58”

– Open the ‘Ascent’ theme
– Edit the file ‘header-banner.php’ line -7
<?php if(($enable_home_slider == 1) && is_front_page()): ?>
Change this above line to
<?php if(($enable_home_slider == 1)): ?>

Then the slider will appear on every page
