it seems the server(?) just needed time to adjust …the signals seemed to be mixed…after some time it seemed to correct itself. i was trying to fix/update the blog too soon (within 24 hours of switching)

as far as importing media and images…i re-installed wordpress after I had bluehost up the MB limit to 100 MB …and after importing my xml file numerous times until it seemed all images uploaded …i think i’m set to go.
