In reply to: [Blackout: Dark Mode Widget] Simple and perfectHi, Jose!
Thanks yourself! I’m so very glad to be using it your plugin. Not only is it useful, but actually changes how I’m reading my own blog; I love a dark/black background.
If I were a better designer I’d change my blog around, but no need for that now with your plugin. ??
All the best,

In reply to: WordPress Gone Wild!I’ve had the problem with “class-json.php on line 238” and have actually tried switching class-json.php for the one in the RC1 package, but that didn’t help.
I like Intense Debate! Will contact them to see what’s up.
Thanks a lot for the solution!

In reply to: 2.3 wp-config.php errorI, too, had this problem. It was because I hadn’t deleted the files, but overwritten them.
Deletion is the key!

In reply to: Upgrade Problem (to 2.3)I just stumbled upon the very same problem that Omar described. Here’s a guide that I hereby commit to let others get help, just remember to back-up your files first! The same goes about your WP-database, of course.
1. Delete
\wp-admin
and\wp-includes
.
2. Delete every file in the root, that starts with “wp”, except forwp-config.php
.
3. Upload the WordPress 2.3-folders and files forwp-admin
andwp-includes
, followed by all the files in the root.
4. Go to https://your_domain/wp-admin/upgrade.php and follow the instructions.Presto! Now your database should be updated and WordPress 2.3 up and running!

In reply to: Styleswitcher vs IEWell, it was there with the default template. I’m a newbie, so I have no idea on how to remove it or how to even modify the installation to get the styleswitcher rolling on Internet Explorer. Any help would be very welcome, as usual!

In reply to: Newbie question re: formattingHey, thanks! I’m happy for all the help I can get! The part about line spacing did most of my problems in, anyway. I’m quite happy with the current layout. The line spacing was the major pain of it all.

In reply to: Newbie question re: formattingThanks, I do believe that took care of the date, but the body text seems to be untouched, and I’d love to take care of the spacing between the lines in that part.

In reply to: Newbie question re: formattingOh, sorry! Here’s a screenshot of how I see the blog in its current, sad state: https://pivic.com/wordpress/wp-content/uglyblog.gif
I think the date stamp, the “header” (e.g. the row named “Teeth + making dinner” at the top), the “Filed under”-part and the body text aren’t looking as good as they used to.
Any clues? I’d be most grateful.
